Chunmei's POV

He's not here.

I was really hoping that Sicheng would coincidentally be at the coffee shop again, but unfortunately, it seems that my luck has run out.

I guess that I'll be attempting to order on my own today. Here goes nothing.

"Um... Americano Regular?" I say to the worker at the counter. Luckily, since she's already taken my order twice and probably remembers me and my language struggles, she seems to get it.

"And um... Hotteok?" I add. I'm telling you, that was so good. One of the best things I've ever tried. Korea really is food paradise. Good recommendation from Sicheng.

Once again, she probably assumes I want the exact same thing as I wanted yesterday - Which, I do - and gestures me over to the waiting area.

As I wait, I keep on looking around for Sicheng, but never find him. Honestly, he's probably busy today. He seemed like a busy guy.

I'm surprised by how badly I want to see him. Interesting, I've only known the man for a few days. I guess I just got attached to the person who shared a common language with me, huh?

My order gets called, so I take it and sit down at the same table from yesterday. Feels kinda lonely without Sicheng, to be honest. Wow, I'm so attached.

After finishing my breakfast in silence and loneliness, I decide to make an attempt at picking something up for lunch.

For the past two days I've been eating a late breakfast and skipping over lunch, but I guess my useless attempt at prying information out of my sister got me eating a breakfast at a normal time.

Well, I know for a fact that I'm not going to some kind of different store that I've never been to before, so I guess I'm eating breakfast pastries for lunch. Yay.

I stutter my way through my order while pointing at foods in the glass display under the counter and attempting to use my knowledge of the Korean alphabet to somewhat sound them out.

After that torturous struggle, the cashier figures out what I'm trying to say and once again gestures me over to the waiting area. She's probably tired of me. I'd be tired to me.

Once again, I check the small, cozy shop for any sign of Sicheng, still holding on to the hope that I was just early today and he'd be here soon. Nope.

So, slightly disappointed, I finally head back home, casually swinging a paper bag containing my lunch by my side.

I'm too tired to the Korean language to study so early in the morning. Actually, well, maybe it isn't so early, but still. I'd like to do something more fun for a while.

Perhaps I should check out that group called WayV.

And so, sitting down at my desk, I decide to start by looking through some of the stuff that they do on their social media platforms.

Oh, looks like they're going to some kind of show or something today. Very active group, if you ask me. Probably in the middle of promotions? I'm not sure.

Well, guess they're gonna be off for the day, too, although I'm not that surprised, considering how busy idols must be.

I sit there for a while, thinking about how literally everyone around me seems like they've got some important thing to do today.

Chunli is off  doing her secret stuff today at what I assume is a big event, probably doing stylist things or something.

Sicheng is probably busy for the day, too, considering he didn't show up at the coffee shop. That, or he's trying to avoid me for some weird reason.

And the WayV group is off at some kind of show, too, doing idol things. Well, they probably do this every day, but the point is, they're busy too.

Is this all related in some way? No, I don't think so. How funny would it be if Chunli, Sicheng, and WayV were all doing the same thing? That would be hilarious.

Yeah, I think my loneliness and boredom is finally getting to my head. Obviously, the three are off doing separate things, in their separate lives.

Anyways, here I am, sitting at home with absolutely nothing to do and absolutely nowhere to go in a country I know absolutely nothing about. Fun.

I guess I should stop procrastinating and go figure out this language that I'm supposed to know.

It really would be hilarious if everything somehow tied together, right?
