01: Moving In

~12 years later~ Temari's POV

"I've decided to enroll you at Konoha University."

"Really?!" I sqeaked in happiness. I'm currently 19 years old and about to enter collage. I got delayed by 1 year in school because of what happend last 12 years. "I'm so happy! I get to go to Konoha again!"

If you're wondering what hapoend that night, well....

~Flashback~

"I didn't even get to say goodbye to him....."

After what my father told me, I don't know what to do know. We're inside the car with my brothers, driving to somewhere to spend the night. What did my father mean when he said 'they found us?'

"Dad, what's happening?" I felt my eyes water once again. I finally calmed down but my father's voice keep echoing in my head. "Where will we go now?"

"Temari, I'll explain everything to you when you're older. I'm sorry."

The drive then was silent. I felt my eyelids become hevier and and eventually fell asleep.

I woked up feeling uncomfortable and saw my brothers leaning on me. Just then I saw a building with the sign 'Suna City Hall'. Suna? Are we in a different City? There are a lot of questions bugging me. But one thing's for sure.

We're no longer in Konoha.

I saw my father walk out of the building. "Where are we dad?"

"We're in Suna City. They're going to help us. We're gonna stay here until we're safe." He gave me a reassuring smile.

We lived in Suna until then.

(Fast Forward to 16 yrs. old Temari and older Gaara and Kankuro)

"Your Mom and I had a large debt."

We listened carefully at our father. He decided that it's the right time to tell us what really happend. Gaara and Kankuro are beside me and are also mature enough to understand these things.

"When your mom was pregnant with Temari, I was fired with my job. She also lost her's. We needed money to pay for bills and her monthly check up on her pregnancy. We decided to borrow money from peole called akatsuki. They were pretty promising because the said we can pay it whenever we have enough money with only 5% interest. We would pay monthly if we can. But then, they made the interest higher and began to tell us to pay sooner. They threatened us so we decided to move to Konoha. We settled down and there, our family grew. But then, the akatsuki found us and killed your mother" He stopped and looked down with a sad face. We were also sad and stayed quiet. "The reason we are here in Suna City, is that they agreed to help us pay the debt and we can pay them if we have enough money. I hope you understand the situation my children."

We nodded and smiled at our father.

~End of Flashback~

"What about Gaara and Kankuro? Will they go to Konoha City to study there as well?

"No. I think it's better for them to stay here. You wanted to be a Lawyer right? I heard Konoha University has good standards and teaching. You can pursue your dream there."

I have decided to be a lawyer. The world lacks justice. So, I will bring those cruel people who kill, steal, etc. to justice. Just like what happend to my mom.

"Thank you Dad." I smiled then hugged him. I'm really thankful that despite what happend years back then, my father is still here to take care of us.

"You'll leave tomorrow ok? Pack your things now" He said while hugging me back.

"Ok. Goodnight" I ran upstairs and started to pack the things I will bring. My dad said he already found me an apartment and I will have a roommate. I hope my room mate is nice. I layed in my bed thinking about Konoha. I felt my eyes closed and fell asleep.

~Morning~

I walked downstairs already dressed and ready to leave. I saw my brothers awake and are already having their morning coffee.

"Goodmoring" I said and caught their attention.

"Ah, Goodmorning Temari." My dad greeted me

"Goodmorning sis." My brother said in unison.

"Are your things all ready? Eat breakfast before you go. Don't wanna be hungry while traveling."

"Yes dad." I sat on one of the chairs and ate the toast and egg my father cooked. We ate in silence only hearing leaf rustling and vehicles passing outside. It was relaxing to hear those in the morning. After eating. I took my bags and brought them to our car's trunk outside waiting. I went to my brothers and bid my goodbye.

"Becareful sis." Kankuro said.

"Don't worry, I will. Take care if Gaara while I'm gone ok? I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Of course" Kankuro hugged me and turned at Gaara.

"I'll miss you, Gaara"

"Me too" I hugged Gaara and walked to the car. I waved goodbye to them and went on the road.

~Later~

After the long drive, We finally arrived at the apartment. I bid my father goodbye then knocked at the door of the unit that my father said.

"Oh! You must be Temari! Come in" I was greeted be a brunette with 2 buns and is dressed in a shirt with chinese dragon patterns in it. "My name is Ten Ten, I'll be your roomate so let's get along well!"

"Likewise" I said and bowed my head slightly. She toured me in the apartment. It's perfect for 2 persons living in it. It has a living room with a sofa and a TV, a kitchen that is simple yet perfect, and average sized bathroom and simple bedrooms.

"This is your room. You can place your bags here. I'll help you." She smile at me.

"Thanks." I returned her gesture. We finished unpacking and decided to sit on the sofa and get to know each other.

"You said you used to live here in Konoha right?

"Yeah. We moved to Suna due to family problems."

"I see... Oh, by the way, if a guy with long hair and lavender eyes come here while I'm not here, tell him that I'm gone. He's my boyfriend."

"Oh..... What's his name?"

"Neji Hyuga" She said while smiling. She's so in love.

"Ok no prob." I then yawned. "We should probably go to sleep. We still have to prepare for the school opening."

"You're right. Goodnight." She said and went to her room

"Night." I entered my room and landed on my bed.

Boy, this is gonna be a long week....
