You lied awake in your bed, the candle on the bedside still lit illuminating the room with orange.

Wanting to call it a night your mind had other plans, only repeating what happened a few hours ago, with a rustle of your blanket you pulled it over your head.

Obscuring the candle light and leaving you in darkness, groaning in frustration the longer you thought.

Why did he, why did he kiss me..
Your body fell hot repeating those words in your head, swiftly flipping the sheet off your head perking up from your bed.

Unable to fathom what had happened you ran through options that could've made logical sense.

He's the commander, why would he kiss me..
Though you were suppose to be his intended fiancée, maybe he was tricking you all along like you first thought when you left the building.

You shook your head, you already threw away that idea awhile ago, you knew he wasn't that kind of person.

But he doesn't seem to be the kind of person to..
Remembering his touch that tilted your face slightly up you froze, with all the disbelief of it happening you didn't necessarily hate it.

You fell first into your pillow, letting out a scream as you cursed yourself out.

You hadn't at all hate it, you wondered if you were wrong for that, you found him attractive so it made sense to you why you hadn't hate it.

It sounded like a more complicated way of saying you liked him.

You've never liked anyone before and you were sure this wasn't the case here, you were only shocked so reacted as accordingly.

That didn't answer why he had kissed you, though tired you blew out the candle, the room filling with darkness as the trace of the glowing light died out.

Pulling the blanket over you your eyes shut, with a deep breath you weren't sure what to think now.

"Repeat that Commander Erwin?"
With a raised eyebrow Zachary leaned forward in his seat, quite larger than his average height the spine of the chair was a cushion blue.

The table he sat in oak bronze along with documents that laid across, the entire room sat quiet, the shuffling of the papers and tapping of his pen drowning it out.

The room was quite large though respectfully as a row of brown furnaced tables across from Zacharys seat were set up.

Crimson curtains sprawled across the windows leaving the room dimmer then outside, giving an impression of the sun setting as its rays expressed red throughout the room.

Distracted the creak of Erwins chair caught Niles attention, the three long tables separated by regiments Niles table sat to the left of Erwins.

Watching as he pushed his hair ever so back, standing to represent himself to the premier of all their regiments.

Pressing his hand down on the table Nile scowled, he knew anytime Erwin spoke a problem was created, an argument between the regiments and the looks of unease from the men representing his own confirmed Niles suspicion.

With the Garrison regiments table to the right of Erwins Commander Pyxis and his men sat there, Nile along with his own men Erwins table only held Levi and Hange.

Both to his left and right.

"Terminate the marriage."
He spoke simply, Zacharys expression still Nile could only groan, watching his own friend only dig a deeper hole for himself.
