"Erwin.." A man exclaimed, his brown mare heaving out air as its hooves had clomped on the flattened grass, coming to a stop he jumped from off his horse.

His hair cut short only a buzzed layer of black remained, his eyes a dark brown as they narrowed the closer he had gotten to Erwin.

Standing next to his white horse his hand held onto the side of it Levi only feet away as he walked his horse to the two. "...There doesn't seem to be titans west side, I've think we discovered a blind spot."

Near a small plethora of trees for high ground they safely assured that they hadn't need to be on their horses, throughout the outside of Wall Maria held titans waiting to eat people, each opening only furthering the casualty rate it seemed they've found a safe haven.

This won't last long...
As he watched the excitement on the mans face he knew this area was soon to be plagued with those creatures when given time.

Only a temporary haven.

"Relay my message and tell the men to not push any further, you're only asking for trouble..." The man nodded, pulling himself up onto his saddle before he softly kicked the side of his horse, pulling the reins and leading the horse west.

Erwin watching as he disappeared from view he let out a sigh, he managed to keep a stead-fast expression before he had became overwhelmed with stress.

Stepping forward his leather boots had crushed a purple flower that spurred out from the disrupted dirt.

Catching his attention as he had halted in his steps, slowly lifting his foot to uncover the now crushed and flattened flower.

"Why a sudden change now.." He muttered to himself with grim, redirecting his foot he only heard the thud of Levi's boots meeting the grass below them.

Off his horse he held onto the brown leathered railings as he gave Erwin an eye. "I have a feeling you're not talking about the titans, stay focused we're not inside the walls, I'd rather not watch you die over some flowers."

He scolded, earning a glance back from Erwin as his expression shifted to its usual cold slate, a second passing before a small smile arose instead.

"You never seem to be wrong, though pointing that out at a place like this isn't appropriate, I'm sure good men are dying now we'll discuss this later."
Levi had to watch as Erwin lifted himself onto his horse, mounting it before wrapping his palms around the reins, with a small kick of his heel he lead the horse forward at a steady speed.

Levi giving a small glance down to the crushed flowers before doing the same as well, catching up to Erwin as he went furthered from Wall Maria.

With a grunt the reflected blades had made contact with the titans nape, piercing in as blood instead filled his view.

In a swift movement both hands ran through the back of its neck, much harder than it looked Levi precariously had backed away, a line of black wire with a hook wrapping around the top of a tree, his hand grasping onto the rough oak, each splinter digging in as the titan collapsed with a rumble underneath the dirts grounding.

Passing the boundaries they had thought held in their blind spot titans ambushed them, with lack of high ground it seemed futile.

Those who weren't eaten already seemed to frightful to face them off, no leeway of retreat other than trees that barely reached ten meters, titans able to reach and claw at that height if given the chance.

Standing with no other choice a titan that had held two scouts in both of its hand whistfully lifted them to its mouth, the blood curdling screams of horror bursting anyone's ears nearby.
