Samuel Red ~ Meeting ~ Chapter Four

"A double kill... I can't believe it..." I muttered.

Brooke's voice shook as she screamed again. She rushed over to the girl's side and yanked the spear out of her neck. The girl fell to the floor, as the spear had pinned her to the wall, and her purple hair surrounded her head as if she were in water. Ember flung herself across her deceased sister and the small boy, sitting next to the body, crawled over to her. "Ja- Jacob..." Ember gasped. "Wha- What h- h- happened?"

Jacob shivered and shook his head. It was evident he was in shock - this must be traumatising for a two-month-old boy. I still wondered who... Made a baby inside Ember. Jacob was her child, but she's only fourteen. Ember's eyes swam with tears as Brooke tried to pull her away from Ava's body.

Coral let out a loud cry as he laid his eyes upon the ginger girl, who looked so happy even in death. Kira Orange and Ava Purple were dead, and there was nothing we could do about it. I just thought... Why? Who had done this? The stab wound in Kira's stomach was deep - if I looked down it, I could see the blood-stained floor clearly.

\/\!! TIME SKIP !!/\/

Where to begin... Who's death do we discuss first? Kira's, or Ava's?

"Who was grouped with Kira and Ava?" Coral muttered.

Brooke replied, in an equally shaky voice, "Opal, I believe-"

"IF YOU'RE TRYING TO PIN THIS ON ME, I WILL SHATTER YOUR FUCKING SKINNY-ASS LEGS! HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE A PRINCESS-?!"

"Bitch, YOU AREN'T A REAL PRINCESS! GET A GRIP!" Ember retorted. I looked at the girl in shock, I had never heard her shout with such rage before - even when she died with three stacks of diamonds on Minecraft that one time. Nevertheless, she actually swore! I've never heard that noise before, either... That shut Opal up; the girl's white hair seemed to curl in anger.

"So Opal was the one paired with Ava and Kira?" Coral confirmed.

"I thought Ava and Kira were together, and the trio was Coral, Opal and Brooke?" Tyler piped up. Peter nodded.

"We were in Reactor before Brooke ran off, just before the lights went out..." Opal muttered. Brooke looked at her, obviously aggravated. 

"I was going to do a task in Lower Engine! I ran into Tyler and Peter there, right guys?" Brooke argued, looking hopefully at the two boys. They both nodded in response, and Peter added:

"We saw Ember and Samuel in Storage, too, while we made our way to Lower Engine."

"I can confirm that - I was following Kira and Ava to Electrical and we passed Samuel and Ember in Storage. We came from Communications-" Coral stated, cut off by an angry Ember.

"How did you get from Reactor to Communications so quickly without anyone seeing you? You used a vent, perhaps, and killed the two girls when you reached Electrical!"

"You're being awfully loud Ember- Unusual for you. Maybe you're the Impostor?" Coral replied, sounding calm but her voice was shaking with anger matching Ember's.

"She was with me the whole time!" I retorted. "She did run off at one point, but she wouldn't have had time to kill anybody-!"

"What if you're saying that because you're the Impostor?"

"EVERYOBODY-" Brooke screeched, "SHUT UP!" We all fell silent, and the blue-haired girl turned to Coral.

"Ember has a point - how did you get from Reactor to Communications so quickly?"

"Simple! I never went with the people I was paired with. Therefore, if Opal or Brooke died, I would know who it is and we wouldn't be stuck in a loop!" Coral cheered. Her grin was as big as her level of GENIUS right there: very small. It wouldn't be that easy to catch an Impostor. "Now then... Who are we voting?"
