By the time I Elwin had showed Sophie and Keefe all her exercises, iced her hand and foot, written down all their reminders of when to clean her cuts, ice her foot and hand, and do her exercises plus instructions on how to do everything, Sophie was starving and wished she hadn't missed lunch. Elwin has also said she could stop using her crutches after tomorrow.

Her and Keefe raced downstairs to eat as soon as Elwin was done. They tumbled into the kitchen and Keefe grabbed a bowl from the top cabinet and started scooping the delicious soup that was laying in a pot on the counter to the brim of his bowl.

"Ugh Keefe! Get me a bowl too!" Sophie complained as Keefe laughed and left her to go sit with the others

"Jerk." She muttered. Looking back at the cabinet she reached up to open it, which was a struggle itself since it was up so high. Sophie frowned as she realized the bowls would be much to high up for her to get.

She looked around for a stool but found nothing. She considered going to ask for help, but she didn't want to ruin everyone's conversation just to embarrass herself.

Sophie looked at the bowls longingly. The only other thing in the cabinet was plates. Sighing, Sophie tried reaching hopelessly for the bowls. She continued this for several minutes before Keefe came back in with an empty bowl.

He laughed as he saw her struggling. "Need some help there Foster?" He teased.

"Shut up and give me one." Sophie stepped aside so he could get her one. He easily reached up and got one. Sophie went to grab it but he pulled it away before she could.

"Ah ah ah, what's the magic word Foster?" Keefe grinned as Sophie glared.

"Please." She muttered.

"Say it like you mean it."

She sighed, rolling her eyes. "Oh Keefe, would you be ever so kind to give me that bowl in you hand." Keefe rose an eyebrow. "Pretty please." Sophie put on her puppy dog eyes.

"Fine, fine." Keefe handed over the bowl and Sophie eagerly scooped in the soup.

To her surprise, most people were still eating their soup when she walked into the seating area.

Sophie happily set aside her crutches and sat in an empty seat next to Biana.

"What took you so long?" Biana asked

"Well someone wouldn't help me get a bowl so I was stuck in the kitchen."

Keefe walked in and Sophie glared at him while shoving soup in her mouth with her spoon.

Keefe has gotten a second helping and sat down next to Sophie in another empty seat.

Sophie continued to finish off her soup quickly. Once she was done she noticed everyone else was done as well.

There wasn't any big announcements so Alden dismissed everyone after they had cleared the plates.

Sophie went up to her room like everyone else and changed in to some pajamas. She was tired by the time she was done brushing her teeth and hair.

Flopping on her bed, Sophie cuddled up with her fluffy pillows. She missed Ella, her old elephant stuffed animal. It had always helped her sleep. But the pillows would have to do for now.

She fell asleep minutes later, still curled up in her bed with pillows confronting her.
