Damian's POV

It's nice being with Malak again after all these years. I wonder if she's still the same after all this while, perhaps she would have grown to like some other things of course. It's nice spending time with her

"So Shaytan, what went on with you when I was gone? Any new things I should know about?" She asked as we took a seat at the park while Titus chased a terrified squirrel around the park.

"Hold on a bit. Titus! Come!" I yelled out and he obeyed, running over to be as the poor squirrel scrambled back to its tree-hole

I picked up a stick and threw it as far as I could, not too far though and Titus immediately snapped his head in that direction and bolted away to find it

"Now what did you say?" I asked her and she snapped out of her thoughts

"I asked what went on in your life while we were separated. Are there any new or interesting things I should know about?" she repeated and I furrowed my brows in thought

'I can't tell her about me being Robin, or about the rest of the imbeciles and Father, so what? Think Damian! Surely there is something...'

"Well... I had to stop killing, because of Father, and mother has tried times without number to get me back but I still refuse. I don't think a lot has changed, I still hate people, well people I can't tolerate" I replied and she hummed

"What about you Malak? Did anything happen?" I asked her

Mari's POV

I knew there is something he isn't telling me, but I chose not to question it. We are all entitled to our secrets after all, even though I will get it out of him sooner or later. I only hummed in response to his answer and thought a bit until he asked a question

"What about you Malak? Did anything happen?"

Where would I even begin to answer that?!

"Well you already know how I met Jason, and when I left to New York because of his death. Then I lived there with my mom and my friends as she ran her bakery. Then she moved me to Paris to stay with my Aunt Tikki, where I met Chloe, Adrien and Nino. Then you know about the lying bitch in my class, and her stupid sheep. So that's basically it" I replied. Once again I left out Ladybug and the Miraculous Gang, and also MDC. I know from the look on his face that he knew I was hiding something but he didn't question it either.

Titus came trotting back with the stick in his mouth and dropped it at our feet. Shaytan picked it up once again while I gave him a pat on the head. Shaytan called his attention and threw the stick again and Titus chased after it.

We chatted more until it was getting late so we decided to head back.

"Shaytan we need to leave back to the hotel..." I tried to tell him but he refused

"Hell no. You guys are staying here with us and that's it"

"You didn't even ask my friends if they agree!"

"Then call them"

"Fine"

I grabbed my phone from my pocket and scrolled through the contacts as we walked back to the manor. I decided to call Juleka knowing she would be the only one to answer

"Why call your quiet friend?"

"She's the only one that would answer" I replied and he rose a brow

"Gami might be training, so her phone would be out of reach. Luka might be busy with his music, so he won't pick. Alix would probably be busy doing stunts with Kim, so both won't answer. Chloe... is Chloe, she might just choose not to pick her phone without looking at who's calling. Adrien's phone might be intentionally switched off so his father or his caretaker won't reach him. And Nino would probably be too lazy to pick his phone even though it were right beside him, or his ears might be blocked with music from his headphones. So Jules is our only choice" I explained
