Two – Three months later (Sorry for the huge time skip)

3RD POV

School the past months had been quite, entertaining

First off the blog and gang were a huge hit, making them famous in Paris, though no one knew their identities. Alya had an accident and lost part of her memory, every trace of their secret identities being amongst that part as well.

She was perfectly fine now, but now ran the blog as the clueless reporter looking for the latest scoops and getting caught up in the chases. {Any bells ringing?}

Mari brought her designing website back up, due to the gang's suggestion, and got more commissions from celebrities to make and more people were desperate to know her. The famous MDC.

Business was booming that's for sure.

Her friendships with both Adrien and Nino were stabilized, and she saw them as her brothers but would never admit it. She didn't tell them sensitive information though.

Her mother came back to Paris for some time, mostly for the bakery and Marinette. She was surprised and slightly angry at first, but shrugged it off and dealt with it. She admitted she did miss her mother, but did it in the privacy of her home.

The rest made sure Juleka and Rose got together, and they did. Mari saw that they loved each other and Rose made Juleka happy. She didn't like Rose that much, because she sometimes reminded her of her previous behavior, but accepted her because of Juleka.

In short her stay was filled with good news

But all good news must surely have some bad news to accompany right?

Of course.

And that bad news came with just one name,

Lila Rossi.

Yup, the Italian showed up after a few weeks and immediately started spinning her web of lies, dragging everyone into it. Marinette didnt care at first, but when the brunette claimed to know her, her as in MDC and Ladybug, she couldn't take it anymore and lashed out at the girl.

Result?

The girl lied her way into almost expelling her.

She threatened to make her pay, for being that close to Adrien, for seeing through her lies and swore to make sure she had no friends, no career and a miserable life.

Of course Adrien, Nino and the gang never believed the liar from the start

Reason?

Kagami knew a liar when she saw one, her no-nonsense attitude helped her see the truth

Alix never actually cared about the girl from the start, and picking apart her lies wasn't that hard.

Kim was with Alix, and has protected Mari for a long time and always believed her, so this liar wasnt able to fool him.

Luka already saw her melody, and it was just a load of earache.

Nino also believed Marinette, and again picking apart Lilas lies wasn't that hard, with a quick search on the internet and the truth was crystal clear.

Adrien saw the lies from the beginning, and ladybug further proved his point. But the boy couldn't stay away from Lila, because she modelled with him for his father, and said dad demanded that he stayed friends with her. So he was stuck with the Italian clinging to him like a needy girlfriend.
