A few days had passed and jae kept making escuses that he couldnt come over. When he had finnaly aggreed to come over i decided i would put down rules. I sat up as the door bell rung i opened the door seeing lathan and jae.
Lathan smiled looking up from his phone " you need me to stay?" He asked
I shook my head sure my plan would work " nah i got this" i said
He nodded and walked off getting into the car driving off. Once he was gone i closed the door and turned around seeing jae looking around like he did last time im search of something to do.
I rolled my eyes crossing my arms " go sit on the couch jae" i said
Jae looked at me supprised but nodded and walked to the couch sitting down. I walked over and sat down on the couch across the room.
I looked over at him " what do you want to do today?" I asked
He grinned probaly thinking we werent working today " video games and can we jump on your trampoline
I nodded " alright lets make a deal"I said
Jae looked at me confused " um.. What do you mean" he asked
" write the first half of your verse and then we'll play video games. After that write the second and half and we can jump on the trampoline" I said
Jae thought for a second before nodding annoyed " alright fine" he said
I nodded as i stood up leading him upstairs to the room I write songs in. He tried to walk into my brothers room but i grabbed his hand pulling him away. He groaned following behind me. I opened the door as we walked in and sat down. We sat there for a hour writing, I was done with the first half of mine in twenty minutes but it took him the full hour. When he was done he started to sing it quietly to check if it sounded good.
I smiled since it sounded nice " its good now. What game you wanna play" i asked
Jae set down the notebook and smiled up at me " 2k" he said
I nodded standing up and leading him to the next room which was my room and we started to play. We played for a lot longer then expected but it was him who reminded me we had to write which made me smile cause he wasnt procrastinating anymore. We walked back into the room and wrote the rest of the song, checking every so often if out verses would work out and they eventually did. So we decided to just go and jump on the trampoline untill lathan came back. He was late so we got down and went to get something to drink just as someone knocked on the door. I set my cup down to go and open the door and saw Lanthan
" You guys make any progress" lathan asked smiling
I nodded "yeah we finnished the song" i said as jae walked around the corner
Once he saw lathan he frowned putting his phone in his pocket " i dont want to go" he said
Lathan sighed " your my responsibility so you gotta come" he said
I sighed looking over at jae " you gotta come back another time to record" I said making him smile
" oh yeah, see you tommorow" he said following lathan to the car
I smiled closing the door and turned around seeing melly sitting on the stair railing smiling. I laughed rolling my eyes as I walked to the livingroom sitting on the couch exhausted.
