Tang Tu said helplessly, "In comparison to the others, we count as familiar to each other here," This was the first time Tang Tu cooperated with Qiao Xin, Feng Qingyu, and Yang Huayue. He had never even talked to them before.
"I know you're afraid that the press is going to go crazy over you, but we are in the same school and the same crew. It's alright to discuss over the script during breaks, and we are standing so far away from each other," Tang Tu made a gesture to show the distance between the pair, "Such a safe distance, in addition to your serious expression. Even the press wouldn't be able to make something out of it."
Liu Man knew Tang Tu had a point, so she let her guard down a little.
"Besides, the guards won't let anyone in, and everyone in this crew has signed a confidential contract. You do not need to be scared."
This was the first time Tang Tu realized he had so much patience. He made up so many reasons only to make a girl chat with him. What was even more ridiculous was, in his mind, he was as nervous as a seventeen-year-old boy who had never seen the world. He was scared Liu Man would reject him again. When had he, famous for being proud and indifferent, ever lowered his pride like this?
Since he gave so many reasons, it was unreasonable for Liu Man to keep her defense up for Tang Tu.
Seeing she was no longer keeping her guard up, Tang Tu showed a smile of relief. He said to Liu Man, "Although you aren't that good at playing classical music, you're good at playing folk songs."
"?"
Liu Man looked bewildered.
"Didn't you go to a pedestrian mall last night to accompany a cyber singer?"
"How do you know that?" Liu Man was surprised.
Tang Tu was even more surprised, "Don't you have Wei Bo?"
"Of course," Liu Man quickly took out her phone. Last night, she went back to her hotel after it was midnight, and she woke up today at seven to come here. She never had the time to check on Wei Bo.
Tang Tu logged onto his Wei Bo. A month ago, when Liu Man looked at his Wei Bo account, he had eight million followers, and now he had nine million. Tang Tu usually didn't like posting much on his Wei Bo account, only once every week. However, he did like to browse and repost others'.
During lunchtime, he followed Coco and reposted Coco's latest post.
"Coco: Last night's live-stream was HIGH. Even sad songs can turn into happy ones, just because my lucky charm was there. That was the best night ever, and I love you so much, my Hanfu Goddess. xoxo." Coco attached a short video under her Wei Bo post. It was the part when Liu Man accompanied her during "Thinking About You."
Coco's account had two million fans, but her post had already gotten more than three million likes, a few million comments, and hundreds of thousands of reposts. She also made a popular search tag - #Hanfu Goddess#.
"Isn't this pretty girl the one wearing Hanfu that other day, at that restaurant?"
"Yeah, yeah. Hanfu Goddess knows how to play the piano, and her piano skills are so good. She's so lucky to have both talents and a good look!"
"Don't you guys think Hanfu Goddess has a good voice, too? She sings in a completely different style from Coco."
"I still like Coco's voice more."
"Coco's a professional singer, and Hanfu Goddess is probably just a normal person without any professional training."
"Nonsense. Hanfu Goddess is a student in the Capital City Music University; her classmates there said so already. Her music professionalism is much better than Coco's."
"Wow, no wonder Coco treats her like a goddess."
...
Everyone who commented was fans of Coco.
However, the likes on Coco's Wei Bo post were even more than her number of fans. The reason behind it was because Tang Tu reposted it and followed Coco.
In the comment section of Tang Tu's repost, the fans were discussing furiously over it.
"Our TuTu is following random people again."
Many superstars were extremely careful online, but Tang Tu was different. He wasn't discreet at all and only thought of Wei Bo as an application to waste time. Tang Tu would follow anyone on Wei Bo if their posts were interesting. Until now, he had already followed more than 3,000 people. The people he followed didn't have to be just superstars or artistic people; he followed people with almost any career. Tang Tu's fans were all used to it and wouldn't be too surprised if their idol suddenly followed someone else.
"Hey, your Wei Bo nickname is 'Princess Man.'"
Liu Man quickly turned her phone off, turned around, and berated Tang Tu, "Why are you peeking at my phone?"
Tang Tu made an innocent gesture with his hands, "I did not peek, I looked at it loud and proud. Besides, your Wei Bo nickname is in such a big font, so I'd be blind if I didn't see it."
"It's also just a Wei Bo. It's not like you have some hidden secrets, right?"
Liu Man shook her head, "Well, no."
"If you aren't hiding some secret, then there's no need for you to make a big deal out of it. Wei Bo is a platform to share daily activities anyways," Tang Tu said as he opened the search bar to search for "Princess Man."
Princess Man's Wei Bo profile picture was a photo of Daylight's fat face. Tang Tu quickly scrolled through Liu Man's Wei Bo. She only had thirty-thousand followers, which seemed to be a very poor amount. Her contents mostly consisted of videos and photos about kittens, and some of her AJ ads.
"So, you are a live-streamer who's a little famous. No wonder last night you rejected my invite and went to find this Coco. Fortunately, this Coco is a girl, or else I would feel a bit unbalanced."
Liu Man felt that Tang Tu's tone was a bit strange.
Tang Tu continued to say, "Your kitten is very cute," he said and conveniently dropped a like on Daylight's cute photo.
"Oh, this video of the kitten is also very cute. Can I repost it?"
"You're free to do so."
Liu Man didn't seem to have a reason to deny him with.
Princess Man didn't have many fans, and nobody noticed Tang Tu liking and commenting on her posts. However, it was different for Tang Tu's fans, who noticed his repost right away.
"Following Coco is fine, but who is this 'Princess Man?'"
"I just went to see her Wei Bo, and she's someone who posts daily activities with her cat. She live-streams a lot but never shows her face. She's not a big deal, for there are so many people like her on Wei Bo."
"That's why it's so strange, how she's no one a big deal."
"Well, doesn't TuTu always do this? He probably thought the cat was cute and clicked on 'Follow.'"
"But this cat IS cute."
Thanks to Tang Tu, Liu Man received four thousand more followers after he followed her.
Liu Man and Tang Tu chatted as they held their phones, occasionally laughing. Yang Huayue witnessed the entire scene. Before she went to bed, she took out her phone to check on Wei Bo. After the actors for each role were confirmed in "The Sound of the Wind," she and Tang Tu had followed each other on Wei Bo. Among all of the actors she followed, Tang Tu was the one who reposted the most. He reposted random things every day and always spammed her screen.
Yang Huayue first saw Liu Man's cat video which Tang Tu reposted, and she checked on the time of his repost. It was at three-thirty, which was an interesting time... Wasn't that when Tang Tu had a chat with Liu Man? Tang Tu and Princess Man had also followed each other.
