I held my daughter, she was so beautiful just like her mother. Her name was Harley Lynn Gilbert. Harley had been friends with both me and Riley, even though we never called her Harley it was a beautiful name. And Lynn was Riley's mothers name, Riley had lost her mother at a young age. But as I looked into my daughters beautiful eyes. I was falling in love all over again. She wide awake. Riley was feeding her.
"Jax called and said that he would see us in a week, to watch his kids, so he can get some alone time to think. " Riley says. I nodded.
Sylo my american bull dog ran in and jumped on the bed and began to sniff Lynn . "Sylo, stop, you'll scare her". Riley says to my dog. He laid down and watched Lynn. He would soon be a good guard dog.
"I feel bad for Jax, the poor guy, he's lost his wife .""imagine how hard that is for him and his kids." Riley says.
(Jax's p.o.v)
I laid in my bed, Joanna and Abel were asleep on both sides of my chest. I kissed their heads gently. "Goodnight my angels". I say. "I'm going to your momma soon too, I'll tell her about the two of you and how wonderful y'all have done". I say.
Nathaniel began to fuss.
I got up and changed his diaper and rocked him back to sleep; laying him in his crib. I laid back down with Joanna and Abel. Tomorrow I would turn myself in, as a gun runner, just myself. I sighed. They would jail me, if they could catch me. They would only catch my empty body , not me.
