It's been a while of Jax and Joanna being outside. I was feeding Nathaniel a bottle. And BG was kissing Riley's hurt arm. He was a bad boy but like Jax he was a sweetheart. I looked at Riley and nodded for her to tell him about the baby. She smiled a little. "Brantley , I'm pregnant". She says. He raised his eyebrows. "Really". He asked smiling big. She nodded smiling back. "Thank god, I was hoping you'd be happy.!" Riley says jumping into BG's arms. They left later that day .
I walked outside and out into the woods to find Jax who had yet to return with Joanna ; it would get dark soon.
Abel trailed along behind me, as I carried Nathaniel. "Jax!" I hollered for my husband. "Jax!" I holler again.
I saw fire. I hurried towards it to see Jax sitting there with his back to me. "Jax?" I asked. Joanna looked at me. Tears in her eyes. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Daddy burned him." She cried. I sighed. "Jax, honey". I say trying to get him to look at me.
"Tell them who I am, what I am, tell them Harley". Jax says to me. "Jax". I say.
"TELL EM WHO I AM , HARLEY!!!!" He growled.
I nearly cried, I had no choice.
"Kids, we're killers, and we're not good people, we've murdered, and destroyed
people, to get what we need, your father runs guns across borders adding the enemies." "I'm sorry, but we're cold blooded killers, and I know your gonna hate us when you understand." I say. Jax had tears rolling down his cheeks and so did I. "But daddy your not bad". Joanna says. "You don't understand I burned him, while he was still alive, I'm not a good man , I'm a murderer.""And now I realized that a good father and a good outlaw can't settle inside the same man." Jax says. Tears slid down my face. "Daddy your good, he's bad; he tried to hurt mommy, you did good like a man is supposed to do."
"Daddy I love you!!" She cries hugging her father.
Jax held the kids close to him. "Your good daddy, because you love us, bad people can't love, but you love". Joanna says kissing Jax's cheek. Jax held the kids so tight. "Come on, let's go fix dinner huh." Jax says. I nodded.
