I sighed. I still held Blaise in my arms. The cops had come and cleaned up the man. I looked at Blaise's peaceful face. "Don't worry , dads got a motorcycle up there, he'll take ya for joy rides". I said. I looked at her wedding ring. I took it off her finger. I unclasped my necklace and put the ring on the chain with my memorial ashes bullet.
The phone rang again. I rolled my eyes and answered it.
Me: what!
BG: the baby's coming , Riley's gotta go to the hospital, where do you want me to take the kids.
Me: take em to mom for now.
BG: okay, man I'm really sorry about Blaise.
Me: I know.
He hung up.
(Brantley's p.o.v)
"Come on kids y'all have to go to grandma Gemma's till daddy comes back. " I say.
Abel and Joanna nodded sadly. I sighed and picked up Nathaniel.
We were finally at Gemma's.
"Gemma you need to watch them , till Jax comes back, our baby's on the way a month early." I say. She nodded and took the kids into her house. I drove fast to the hospital .
(Joanna's p.o.v)
Grandma was weird, I sighed. We stayed with her for hours. Then a man came there.
Me and Abel were hiding in the hall listening to Grandma and the man talk. "You killed her!" The man says . "Shhh, I had to she got in the way, now Jax will be here with me again, she made him to tender, and good, do you have any idea how many times he's come to me saying he didn't wanna live the life because of her." Gemma says. Me and Abel looked at each other.
"She killed mommy!" Abel says. "Shhh, don't let her hear you". I say. Then she came into the hall. "What are you two doing up this late?" She asked sweetly. I rolled my eyes. "We're scared grandma Gemma we want momma back, and she got killed". "And you did it." I say.
"Come on let's go sit at the table and talk." She says. I followed but had to pull Abel along. "Listen kids, do you understand what an accident is?" She asked. "Do you!" Abel says loud.
