ok so im going to try my best to explain this. so about y/n's quirk like the whole memory thing? after using that stored information for LONG periods of time she has the after effects in her sleep. so basically her mind is awake but her body isn't? which basically means shes deaf, mute, and cant see since shes still asleep. she can only rely on touch IDK IM GOING TO MAKE IT MAKE SENSE IN THE STORY JUST BELIEVE IN ME I HOPE

Your POV

Finally. Another long hard day at work. Somehow my body had managed to not pass out in the bathroom. But five successful procedures in one shift, that's kind of amazing. I shuffled my way to the bedroom and there she was. Rumi was fast asleep on the bed. I crawled up next to her and got under the blankets. She groaned.

"Carrot?"

"Mhm."

"Hello, beautiful," she said, wrapping an arm around my hip. I leaned over closer and gave her a kiss.

"Hi~ how was work?"

"I beat up some tough guys' asses."

I could hear the smirk in her voice.

"I'm so proud of you, Rumi. Let's talk more tomorrow, I'm winded."

"Mhm."

She started rubbing her hand up and down my back. Knowing that she was by my side always helped me fall asleep easier. It's the sensation I felt while slowly slipping away from consciousness...and a gentle kiss on the cheek.

Narrator POV

Rumi woke up first, like always. You were still asleep, lightly snoring. She smiled at the sight of your face. Pulling out her phone, she kept one arm around you and started scrolling through social media.

About twenty minutes later, your body starting twitching. You seemed...confused? Rumi's attention went to you, as she already knew what was happening. A small groan came from you and it took a few seconds to realize someone was touching you. Within a moment's notice, you flicked the hand away and curled into a ball.

'Who was that?' 

'Where am I?'

'What's happening?'

'Why can't I hear anything?'

'Why won't my eyes open?'

Your mind was racing and you held onto yourself tighter. Rumi's hand moved to find your wrist. Once she grabbed it, you fought back.
