EVER SINCE MY TRUE feelings for Sirius surfaced, everything was different. I was still the normal, chaotic, flirty teenage everyone knew me to be. Yet every time I even touched a boy I felt a tinge of guilt spill through me, as if I was breaking some sort of unspoken vow by being with another man when I felt such strong feelings towards another.
Although I still acted the same around Sirius, I had made it my duty to avoid Damian at all cost. Which didn't go unnoticed by most of my friends— all of which assumed it was just a bad date. Or he was a bad kisser.
But of course no one knew about my situation besides Peter. Who had promised to keep his mouth shut and not go confess to Sirius about my true feelings. I trusted him a hundred percent. I knew Sirius wouldn't find out, unless he either pried it out of me himself; or I confessed. Which would probably not be happening anytime soon.
A voice sounded from beside me, and suddenly I was pulled back into reality.
"Vix..vix..whats the answer?" James whispered. Turning to face him, I nearly had to cover my mouth to stop the laughter that was threatening to escape— he looked desperate and needy; as if he would die if I didn't tell him.
"It's not funny! I'm going to fail!" James argued, looking worriedly from me to his paper, and back to me. Eyes as wide as a deer in headlights.
"I'm sorry prongs, but I, Onxy Grey am no cheater." I confessed dramatically, before peaking over to the persons paper beside me and copying their answers.
"Bitch." James muttered.
"What was that Prongsy?" I questioned,
"Oh just me confessing my undying love for you thats all." He teased, poking my side playfully before the two of us returned our focus to the work in front of us.
Charms zipped by faster than usual due to the test. Leaving James and I to sprint as fast as we could out of that class and down a lengthy amount of corridors.
Only one problem, my attention was so fixated on James running along next to me I hadn't noticed the person I was about to crash into, until I was stumbling backwards from the impact.
"Merlins balls I'm sor...oh." I mumbled, my breath hitching in my throat as I look up into the green eyes of the boy I ran into.
