DreamWorks Ball

Chapter 8

It is Sunday,one day before the Ball! Many DreamWorks characters are buzzing with excitement. The clothing shops are full of customers in the DreamWorks. Some characters are even in the internet. Girls and women try on dresses that are formal with whimsical features or something like that. Boys and men get tuxedos and suits to wear. The dress code for the ball is formal and whimsical so everyone will bring out their whimsy side.

The shop employees try to keep up with the work load but m, are struggling. They didn't think that today would be this busy! They hope that they will still have energy left when they go home.

Olaf, Princess Ariel, Princess Venelope Van Sweets and Wreck-It- Ralph are shopping at a nice fancy clothing shop. Ariel had suggested it thinking it would be fun to wear something new at tomorrow's ball. Plus Ralph did not have a suit since his old one got ruined before and Olaf did not have a lot to wear. The plan for Olaf is just to get him a nice bow tie to avoid possibly melting from his new clothes.

Ariel and Venelope are in the dress section while Ralph is looking at suits and Olaf is just looking around in awe and curious. Ariel finds a dress for Venelope to try on. It is a lovely shade of red with a big skirt and big shoulder straps. The waist has a white ribbon with a bow and white ribbon on the hem and on the neckline. Ariel thinks it will look good on her little princess friend.

Venelope is standing next to Ariel looking for a not 'super princessy' dress. She turns to her left to see Princess Ariel holding the small dress. Venelope looks at the dress then at Ariel.

"How about you try it on!", Princess Ariel says to Venelope excited.

Venelope tries it on in the dressing room but, she does not like it. She steps out of the dressing room to show her friends the dress and to hear what the other Disney characters think. Ariel smiles at her thinking that Venelope looks cute in the dress. Venelope honestly prefers her pink dress back in her castle. Ralph is not good with dresses so he is not sure what to say about the dress. He honestly thinks it is too red. Olaf likes the dress.

" You look nice.",Olaf says honestly.

"It is very bright and red...", Ralph says honestly.

Venelope feels the same as Ralph for the brightness of the dress. The dress is okay in the little princess's opinion. She did not want to wear the dress. It is not her kind of dress. Princess Venelope looks up at Ralph.

" I agree...",Venelope says honestly to her best friend.

Then Venelope turns to the other princess. Ariel just looks at her happily.

"Thanks Ariel but, I'm not taking this...", Venelope says.

Ariel didn't feel bothered that Venelope did not want to wear the dress. It just rolls off the Disney Princess's shoulders. Ariel smiles at the little princess and gives her a happy and understanding nod. Venelope quickly goes back into the dressing room to change back into her old casual clothes while Princess Ariel looks more dresses in Venelope's size.

Later that day, Ralph and Venelope walk across the internet. Ralph, Venelope, Ariel and Olaf all have new clothes to wear at tomorrow's ball. Ralph is lucky that the shop had a suit in his size. Soon the two friends are at DreamWorks Animation without realizing it they notice a delivery cart with packages stop at the DreamWorks Animation worlds portal.

Then the delivery man waves at them then gestures for them to come towards him. Ralph and Venelope go to him. It turns out the man needed help. Ralph picks up the biggest package while the Venelope takes some of the smaller boxes. Venelope watches the man put in the good so clearly that once he finished she now knows the code. The trio quickly goes into the Wormhole Zone.

The delivery man directs to the Party room. They stop next to the crowd of press. They put the boxes down. The Disney characters don't notice they are on DreamWorks' turf.

"Thanks. I'll take it from here.", the man says.

Then two Disney characters go back to the Internet without any of the DreamWorks characters noticing them at all because, they are busy. The delivery man holds a few boxes. The man walks through the crowd. He reaches the security guards,Fishlegs and Meatlog.

" I have a few boxes for you and your coworkers. ", the man says.

Fishlegs immediately realizes that the packages must be stuff Jack,Tooth, Hiccup,Astrid,Poppy and Branch ordered. Fishlegs gets the biggest box then the two men walk into the party room quickly.

The party room is almost completely ready. The ball's work is almost done! Tomorrow morning they just have to put the final touches. The hosts there;Hiccup,Astrid, Tooth,Jack,Branch and Poppy; notices the boxes. They immediately knew it was the stuff they ordered.

They walk up to the delivery man as Fishlegs goes back to his guarding shift with meatlog. The hosts sign for the boxes then the delivery man leaves to do more deliveries. The hosts open the boxes and helps the workers with putting in the new items.

Soon it is going home time. All the workers leave to go home after cleaning up. The hosts have make sure their clothes for ball are good and fit before they go home to rest. Lucky for them when they all had their clothes checked and picked up earlier they didn't have any problems with the clothing.

Many characters in DreamWorks Animated worlds are very excited for tomorrow! They all go to sleep early so they don't oversleep the next day. They couldn't wait for tomorrow to come!
