DreamWorks Ball

Chapter 20

A few months later,the relationship between the DreamWorks characters and Disney characters have improved. They have been hanging out every now and then. They are good friends now. The other Disney characters were surprised when they were told about the ball and the DreamWorks characters. Some of them took a while to process it all! The Disney princesses were very surprised when Princess Ariel told them about the Disney princesses. Princess Merida actually wants to meet the DreamWorks princesses along with some of the other princesses.

Right now Ariel, Venelope, Ralph,Olaf and Felix are hanging out with some of their DreamWorks friends;Hiccup,Astrid,Jack,Tooth,
Branch and Poppy. The group of friends are sitting at a big park table. They are telling their life changing stories. The Disney characters had already told their life stories. Jack and Tooth already had their turn to tell their story. Hiccup is almost finished telling his first big life changing adventure to the Disney characters.

"Wait! So that's how you lost your foot?", Ralph asks shocked.

Ralph is not the only character shocked by how Hiccup lost his foot as a teenager! Felix, Venelope and Ariel are shocked as well. Having your foot burnt to the point where it needed it to be removed sounds horrible! They feel sorry that Hiccup went through that. They never been in a situation like that before.

"Yeah...", Hiccup admits.

Hiccup is honestly not really bothered by the fact that he lost his foot. He did at first but, then he got used to having a peg leg. It is no big deal for him.

" So what happened next?",Princess Ariel asks curious.

Astrid decides to tell the next part since Hiccup was in a coma at the time. The Chiefress sits next to her husband. Her one hand sits on top of one of Hiccup's hands. She frowns a little as she tells the next. Hiccup starts holding her hand trying to comfort his wife.

"Well,after the defeating the red Death everyone went back to Berk. Hiccup was in a coma for a week! I visited him seven times but, then he woke up and I found him outside surrounded by other Vikings. I punched his arm then gave him a kiss. Vikings had made peace with the dragons and had started riding them. Life in Berk had become a more interesting place at that point. It was a new beginning for us Vikings...", Astrid tells honestly.

Astrid gives her husband a quick kiss on the cheek. She remembers being so happy when Hiccup had woken up from his coma. She had missed him a lot and was afraid that he would not wake up. If she didn't have Hiccup in her life she probably would not be as happy as she is now. He changed her life forever and she is grateful for it.

After the first " How To Train Your Dragon " adventure, Olaf wanted to hear more of the Dragon Riders' adventures. The Viking couple promises the little Snowman that they will tell him later on. Soon Branch and Poppy start telling their first life changing adventure.

"Wait you sang to Poppy that you loved her but, you two stayed friends?", Princess Ariel asks confused.

She didn't get why the two trolls stayed friends instead of becoming an official couple. It also didn't make sense to the other Disney characters either. Maybe DreamWorks works more differently then they thought... Poppy and Branch stand in the middle of the table. Poppy decides not to say anything.

" Well Yeah... Pretty much but, we did start dating later on. It happened four friendzoned years later but, at that point our relationship had gotten stronger than before! ", Branch replies honestly.

The Disney characters just nod their heads to the trolls. Poppy tells the rest of the story to them. At the end of the trolls's story Olaf remembers that he and the other Disney characters have something for the DreamWorks characters. He hopes that they will like it.

" We have something for you...",Olaf says sweetly.

The other Disney characters smile as they realize that Olaf decided it is time to give the DreamWorks characters their surprise. They had promised Olaf that he could start it off. Felix quickly pulls out many invitations with a smile.

"These are for you...", Felix says sweetly.

He puts the invitations on the table. All the DreamWorks characters take one. The trolls get smaller sized invitations. The DreamWorks characters look confused at the invitations.

" These invitations are especially made for you. Disney is having an Anniversary party and we want to you to join. You invited us to your ball despite what happened so we want to return the favour...",Ralph says honestly and happily.

The DreamWorks characters are surprised by this! They didn't see this coming. They smile at the Disney characters as Venelope asks them a few certain questions.

"So what do you say? Want to join our party?", Venelope Van Sweets ask happily.

The DreamWorks characters look at each other with happy smiles then back to the Disney characters. Olaf looks at the DreamWorks characters with a hopeful look in his eyes. He and the others really want them to come! It will mean a lot to them if they did.

" I'm pretty sure I am speaking for all of us DreamWorks characters as I say this. Of course we will come!", Poppy says excited.

Olaf gasps in delight as the other characters smile at each other. The little snowman is so happy and excited that he has to double check!

"Really? You all really mean it?", Olaf asks excited and is basically beaming with it.

Some the DreamWorks characters let out a laugh at how cute Olaf is being. Jack,Tooth,Astrid, Hiccup, Branch and Poppy have big smiles on their faces as well. They all want to and would love to go to their party!

"Yes! We love to!", all the DreamWorks characters say happily together.
