Chapter 4

The hosts are in a tricky situation!An army of Press is waiting for them! What are they gonna do about this? They need a plan! They need one made as soon as possible! This is crazy! And if anybody knows anything about crazy it will be the DreamWorks characters. Dreamworks characters do things that many other movie characters,like Disney characters,would consider to be crazy and won't do cause the ideas are; like riding dragons,having big loud and crazy parties and allowing children to fight alongside them in battle. Even DreamWorks characters call each other crazy sometimes! DreamWorks characters are risk takers! The hosts sit their spots stressed and overwhelmed.

"What are we going to do?," Smidge asks.

Some of the hosts sign. They all start talking about what to do. What could they do to make the Press calm down and not affect the progress of the ball setup?

"The Press are so crazy for questions...", Cooper comments.

Then an idea hits Astrid's head after hearing Cooper's words! Astrid could not see any big faults with it. She feels her idea will be a win - win.

"I got it!", Astrid exclaims excitedly.

They turn to Astrid. They were confused at first cause of how quick her exclaim came. The other hosts did not know what she was thinking but, they want to know. Hiccup has a good feeling about Astrid's exclaim.

" What is your idea,Astrid?", Bridget asks.

"A News Conference! If we answer all their questions for the rest of the day they won't come after us later when we try to go home.", Astrid adds.

"Good idea!", Hiccup replies happily.

Everyone like Astrid's idea! The other hosts comments on how good it is. They all thought it could work. It's a win - win for both the hosts and Press. For now, answering as many questions as they can will have to do but, will the Press like the idea? The hosts didn't know...

" Let's go and see if the press will bite then...", Bunny says hopeful.

They all get up from their seats and walk nervously towards the guarding dragons. The dragons stood down their defence and allows their riders and the other host to walk through the wormhole. The dragons fellow them to the other side. The hosts hope that the Press will agree to the idea...Right now,they only have hope...

The group of hosts and the dragons go through to the other side. The Press notice the hosts but, before they could start asking questions,taking pictures and rushing to them all over again, Toothless roars loudly! The Press are scared by the roar of the Dragon Alpha. All the Press are completely quiet after the roar ended.

" Look, we will have a News Conference for the rest of the day if you promise to not bother the volunteers and workers for the rest of the day as they work...", Astrid explains.

"Does that sound fair to you?", Hiccup asks hopeful.

To the hosts relief the Press like the idea and are more than happy to take part in the conference. The hosts had some workers set up for the conference in wormhole Zone quickly and the hosts helped of course. There are a TV screen for the fish Press to talk and see what is happening,a few speakers placed near by the crowd and a wooden announcement stand table in front of the Press. There is one TV setup in the Underground Level with a microphone and speaker which are water proof. The hosts all wear small microphones that are same kind singers use when they can't hold the microphone. They stand in from of the Press. The trolls sit on some of the bigger hosts' shoulders.

After setting up, the News Conference begins. There reporters with camera crews recording live for their news channels. Every single news channel in DreamWorks Animation worlds have this News Conference showing right now! It's very big deal!

A human man stands at the  announcement table. He is from the " The Rise Of The Guardians" world. He has a list of 10 questions on folded paper in his left hand. He opens it up and asks the first question.

"Dragon riders,do you worry that Pitch will try to ruin the event,like he almost did last year?",he asks.

This is going to be an even longer day!

It's night time already and the News Conference had ended an hour ago. The workers and volunteers have all left. After Sandy accidentally hit everyone with dream sand after North woke him up with his very loud voice,they all took a nap in the party room. They still feel tired when woke up but, they had little more power than earlier.

The stuff used for the conference has been packed away in North's place temporary. The host sit in a circle all sitting in random order feeling tired from their long day. They want to go home as soon as possible but, they have to talk about dealing with the press. They don't know whether the Press will come and pay them a visit again tomorrow...

"Hiccup and Astrid,You two are head of the Security team so do you have any ideas or an security plan?", Branch asks.

Astrid and Hiccup look at each other for a second then at everyone else. Despite how tired they are they both still have some brain power for coming up with a security plan. The couple whisper a few ideas in each others ears. After a few minutes of coming up with a plan they felt like they had came up with a good idea to deal with the matter.

" How does this sound? One rider and a dragon guard the wormhole in the Wormhole Zone during working hours.", Hiccup explains.

"The riders and dragons will take shifts for guard duty so that way nobody can sneak in or out cause the Viking won't be tired from guarding too long. ", Astrid explains.

The rest of group gave it some thought. They all like the idea. The hosts talk more about the plan. The dragon riders figure out more details for the plans. Soon they had a whole thought out plan figured out. Then Astrid and Hiccup went over the plan again with the other hosts to make sure they met everybody else concerns. The other hosts are happy with the dragon riders' plan.

Branch offers to help them with making the schedule which Hiccup and Astrid accepted. For tomorrow they will just have to put a random Viking in the group in until they have fully planned schedule made. The Dragon Riders will be busy with that tomorrow. Now everyone can relax and don't have to worry too much about the Press.

The hosts put the chairs back to where they found them. Most of them leave the Party Room. King Gristle Jr being the last one to leave turned off the lights before he left. All the hosts go home for a very much needed rest...
