killua and f/n were childhood friends so what happens when killua moves away and they meet again a few years at the hunter exam........
this is my first x reader story soo im kinda excited ngl

We have been walking for what seems like hours just trying to find one of our targets until I recognize one of my badges.
"Hey Killua I think that guy over there might be mine."
"Really go try and get it. I'll stay here."
"Ok hopefully it goes well."
I walked over to the man that looked like this.

He looked kinda scary but I was kind of confident I could get it. After all, I trained with Killua for all those years.
"Hey what's your name?" I asked the man as I walked over to him.
"Oh my name's Goz, you?" He said
"Ah i'm f/n nice to meet you!" I said maybe if I could get on his good side I could take the badge.
"Ok f/n what do you want..?"
"Oh um well I was walking around and I noticed you looked a little lonely so wanna hang out maybe?" I asked hoping he didn't put too much thought into it.
"Sure I guess I never really had anyone ask me that."
"Well then I can be the first!" "C'mon let's go over by the river and talk." I said and pointed to the river.
Killua's POV
I was watching what f/n was doing and seemed pretty smart. The guy does look like he never had any friends.
"I wonder if I tried doing that- well I should follow them to see how this all plays out." I thought
She pointed to the river so I was just gonna go in the trees to beat them there. I hope this all goes well if so maybe I could try it.
I was about to start climbing when f/n looked at me and gave me a thumbs up so naturally I did it back.
F/N POV
I looked over at Killua and gave him a thumbs up to assure him this would work. I do wonder if Goz knows but I guess all I can do is hope he does.
We started walking to the river and I heard some trees rustling. I'm pretty sure it was just Killua so I brushed it off.
When we finally arrived we patted at a spot beside me. My plan is to try to gain his friendship then knock him out to take his badge. It should work out perfectly. There's only one thing that could go wrong and that is if he doesn't believe me.
"So is this your first time taking the exam?" I asked him
"Yeah I think i'll pass though i've been training." He said
"Yeah it's my first time too so what do you plan to do after this?"
"Well I wanna go around the world and try the new stuff and experience everything."
"That sounds pretty cool!"
"What about you?"
"Well i'm not sure yet i've been thinking but nothing comes to mind." I said I hoped he didn't know I was lying.
"Well we all start somewhere."
A few hours later
"Hey Goz can you turn around I wanna show you something I made you in honor of our friendship!"
Now is the time to go . I don't have a gift for him but I will try and knock him out to take his badge.
"Um ok I guess." He said turning around.
I looked at Killua in the tree and smiled with a thumbs up again.
Alright how hard can it be? I slowly pulled out my blade and went to knock him in the head but when I went to slice it there was nothing there.
"WHAT?! Did he move? Is he still here? If so then where?" I was mentally slapping myself for being so dumb.
This is gonna be harder then I thought I said pulling out my blade ready for battle.
