"GAH! I CAN'T GET THIS STUPID POSE DOWN..!" I shouted, ruffling my hair with my stained hands.
Anyone could tell from afar that I was an absolute mess of an artist. Graphite littered the side of my hands. Hair pulled back slightly yet strands fought their way through the loose hair tie. To top it all off, my stained clothes that were completely fine when I arrived at school.

The school I went to, Third Kurotsuki Private High School, and I was currently in an empty classroom. Not just any classroom but an art class. The school day has already ended yet I was still here. Working. It wasn't out of ordinary for me to stay behind, especially when it came to working on a new piece.
Speaking of a new piece, I was mapping out a dynamic pose for a character I was going to draw. Something symbolic and...artsy. Yet, I couldn't get the pose just right!
"Excuse me, Miss/Mister/Mx [Y/N]..." A friendly voice knocked gently on the wooden door.
My head swirled back to catch the grey disheveled haired man standing right by the door. He smiled happily, fixing his glasses once, before stepping closer to me. I immediately bore my head back to my drawing once I saw it was him.
"Oh! Hey, Professor Mishima!" I replied back with a grin. Fiddling with the pencil, I tried once again at the pose.
Mishima leaned towards me, looking straight down at my sketch. I could hear him beam with excitement for my new piece.
"I don't believe I assigned a new assignment for the class, hm Miss/Mister/Mx [Y/N]..?" He grabs the side of his glasses and shifts them a bit. I chuckle at his comment before nodding.
"Yeah..I just wanted to draw something for myself, you know? Buttttt...this dumb pose isn't working out so well.." My expression turns to a frown as I remembered how difficult this was.
As Mishima stood still for a second, he opened his mouth slightly but was immediately shut down by my voice.
"Last time you posed for me, you stumbled forward and knocked down all the paint and water...and my peers canvases..." Recalling back the memory, it was certainly funny to see it unfold.
Mishima coughs to relieve the tension from that memory, which caused me to laugh further. Seeing the grown man get embarrassed by his actions is something you don't see often. Especially from an eccentric man like him.
"Well..yes, I don't want that happening again. But— if you may, lemme let me offer a piece of advice.." He pulls up a small brown chair from one of the desks and places it down next to me. The chair scratched up against the floor, creating a skittering noise.
Not wanting to turn down one of Mishima's inspirational advices, I turn my head towards him. I place down my pencil as well. I wanted to give him my undivided attention.
"I won't go into extreme detail, don't wanna bore you to death hehe..but whenever you can, take a breather." He nonchalantly states.
Seemingly with ease, his more sincere and endearing side was showing. I nodded along to him as he continues to lecture me on the importance of taking a break.
"Art is difficult. We both understand that fully well..me being your professor and you being my student. However, if you continue to stress over something, you won't get it done." Ding. A small bell rung through my head, alerting me of Mishima's words.
Shining through, his brown chocolately eyes stared back at me. His mouth curved upwards in his signature smile, yet it held a softer side to them. I couldn't help but mirror it.
"You seem to understand it, correct? Hehe..just don't stress out too much. I don't want one of my students pulling out their hair over this. Unlike mine..!" He jokes half-heartedly. I laugh anyways as he proceeds to stand up.
My eyes train onto him but my mind still smiling at his encouraging words. Despite his role as a teacher, he still made it his responsibility to care for me like his children. It warmed my heart bit by bit.
"Well, how about you finish that tomorrow? I can drop you off if you'd like.." He starts fumbling with some leftover paper from scattered desks as he calmly walks around the room.
I look up at him and then at my drawing. I've been going at it for a long while now..I guess I do need a break. With that, I stuff all my supplies in my case as well as my handbag.
"I would like that, Professor Mishima..!" A simple break was what I needed.
