The unexpected coincidence

Being the school president was never really easy there are so many handouts and monitoring In the whole day and repeating this for my whole year in Chaewon high, and I am a graduating student I am trying my biggest best to make a last remark as a high school student and I'll just consider this as an achievement that I can recall when I step up on college

Honestly speaking, I never thought of something I'll take soon

I was scared of what might my parents feel when they knew what I really want, I don't want to pursue medicine because I am not confident about it, they said chase and cherish your dreams but that qoute just doesn't exist on me, I failed many times but I am trying my best to let them forget those by meeting their expectations again I was in denial that I am doing fine but what they don't really know is that I had experience sleepless nights, nose bleed and anxiety just to prove myself 

''YAH- you are in fourth place?'' my brother said laughing holding my report card

''Heesung-ah can you not make it on the first place just like your brother seon? this is your last year there'' my mom encouraged

I just hesitantly nodded, keeping myself away from their disappointment 

''you were second the last time, what's gotten into you? what are you up these past days? , you cannot continue this work of yours'' Dad said and I just obediently nodded

even though I feel sick of it

''yeobo, he is still on high place compare to choi jaeho but it would be better if you take away his place heesung'' mom said before turning to face me

''Eomma, choi jaeho is competitive and he's being incompetent why bother to make him take his place''

''I'll try my best next time'' I said looking at dad 

''Don't waste my investments in you besides you need the best grade to enter med school and if your situation will drag you out of it I will never forgive you, do you understand that? stop eating and start studying inside your room'' my Dad strictly said

''yes, I understand'' I said before going to my room 

I feel empty again

I heard my phone rang and answered it

''hyung, were going to sleep at Jay's house today aren't you going?'' I heard jungwon said and the weird noises they were making

''I can't'' I simply declined

''ahhh waeeeee?[why] it's friday can't you make it?''

''I have to prepare for the mock test'' 

''weekends are pretty wide to fill up'' he convince, I just laughed imagining how cute this guy can be right now

If I just got the highest place maybe I could go

''sorry, can you tell them that''

''fine, next time you better show up bye I gotta go'' he said before ending the call

when someone knocked the door I opened the door revealing my brother

''are you seriously going to keep this up?'' seon said ''if you are not serious just tell dad that you want to stop studying''

''I don't understand you'' I said really clueless on what he was trying to say

''if you can't make it this time just give up, you'll end up crawling to me asking for help anyways'' he said before walking away
