Study buddies

Kaori's POV

It was a nice day to begin with, until my younger brother barged in with a sassy face with him, I groaned in annoyance and wanted throw the pillow straight to his face but I just cannot,

''can you knock?'' I grunted, and he just rolled his eyes on me, look at this brat

''everyone did already shouted for you to wake up but you are just stupidly stubborn'' he talked back crossing his arms,

''it's Saturday, so'' I said and tried to get back on my sleep, when I heard him scoffed, ''I guess I get only one to see sunghoon, 'THE MAN OF YOUR DREAMS'' he said in a mocking way but still made me instantly pressured for a moment before rushing on the bathroom myself

''so you're eager to see him, huh''

''shut up'' I gave him a death glare before closing the bathroom door

''dad, why are we meeting them'' I asked, Dad move a bit closer and whispered, ''your mom just happen to be friends with Mrs Park'' he simply answered

''why, did you just expect that they are going to arrange a marriage for you both'' zeyu suddenly interrupts, I pinched his nose pushing him backwards

''Dad look at her'' Dad just face palm himself looks like he was struggling with something

''stop being immature or I'll pinch them hard until it-

''kids stop, your mom's going to kill the both of you'' Dad gripping the both of us

He tried to pinch back when our mom separate us in standing between us

''enough, don't you dare act like this in front of the Family Park or else I'll let both of you eat carrots only for the whole week do you understand'' mom warned before elbowing my dad who doesn't have her attention ''alright, the Park Family is now already inside'' mom said excitedly

We followed her until we went inside their house

It was my first time seeing sunghoon's house and it was a bit larger than our house, but seems like sunghoon's mom is really different from the personality of her son, based on what I see right now, sunghoon's mom laughs loud and appear to be a cheerful person

While staring at them talking I tried to turned around but did not expect to meet sunghoon's fixed eyes on me

I immediately grab zeyu's juice and drank it continuously that made me ended up coughing and spilling the juice on my clothes

''oh my god are you okay?'' they all rushed to me, I felt my cheeks getting burn and a romantic excitement building on my stomach ''I'M FINE... I'm fine... I am really fine'' I went out to exit myself and went to their bathroom to wipe my mess

''how long was he staring at me?'' I curiously mumbled myself

''I was looking at you the whole time''

I jumped out in surprise and saw sunghoon's reflection on the mirror

''you scared me....'' I blinked many times 

that was the stupid kaori

I slept the last time we met while I was answering my homework and he left me all alone and this is really embarrassing for me

A silence occurred

''the last time.....

Before he could say about the last time I promptly cutted him off

''you know, I was really exhausted that time and could only think of having a peaceful nap, so I- I did took sleep and we only studied twice together but.... I just can't focus on doing them for some reason'' I squeezed my eyes in ashamed
