Jungwon's POV

''jungwon-ah what are you looking at?'' said jay who is sitting across me, I looked at the sight and getting mesmerized by the beauty of ji eun our sunbae from heesung's class and also my best friend, she is always this stunning and I can't help but to wish to stare at her forever, we've known each other before the squad, and I always consider myself as a lucky person because I have, she always take care of me, hang out with me whenever she's free and last is I can tell her my problems and she knows my secrets except for

my love for her

I don't want to tell her what I feel because I'm scared that we might end up in awkwardness because she treats me like her younger brother and I don't want to ruin our friendship because of my damn feelings, but I am insecured and hiding my feelings making myself less confident and that is what I'm scared to get rejected, but I am already contented that she is there for me, I don't have nothing to ask because she was nice to me.

ji eun is sitting in a table near us and having her breaktime with her friends, her friend beside her told her something that made her cracked a little and I can't help but to hold my small smile until she tend to look in my gaze, she gave me a cheerful smile that instantly melted my heart, she waved her right hand and  I waved back when I suddenly got confused and looked around and I just saw one of his guy classmate is walking toward their direction that they were exchanging looks.

I sighed in disbelief on the thought that I was the one she was smiling but she just ruined that

''that guy likes your ji eun'' heesung suddenly laughed, which earned me a 'done' look

''I was only tell- I cutted him off by putting the bread on his mouth ''shut up because I don't care''

''just tell her that you like her'' Jay said with a food stucked on his mouth 

''is food here really that good that you have to eat all of them in sync'' I said handing him a tissue 

''do you guys really think it's easy to confess, because it's not and besides, you guys never experienced having a girlfriend so how would you know how it feels like'' I smirked at them leaving them surprise and they all looked at me

''FYI, I did have exes in Australia which you don't know about'' Jake talked back crossing his arms on his chest, making me do the same  and giving him an annoyed look 

''sunghoon hyung'' I looked at sunghoon who is busy reading his papers that finally gave me his attention he put them down making me grin at him, she is probably thinking how to murder me right now

''I don't do date things and I don't care'' he straightedly said, jake suddenly laughed loud clapping his hands leaving us confused 

''yah- can you even tell us first before reacting'' Jay rolled his eyes, Jake slightly leaned forward grinning

''pretend that I said something '' jake whispered making sure sunghoon did not heard it, and I acted  looking sunghoon in a teasing way

''she's nothing to me, studying in library doesn't mean anything you guys need to stop fantasizing about that, especially you jake'' he said glaring at jake instead of receiving a tension we just laughed making him looked really clueless

''what are you talking about I never said something HAHAHAHAHA but now I know, what do you think guys, am I already smarter than sunghoon?'' 

''yeah man'' Jay said making a fist bump with jake making sunghoon scoffed

''so what, I don't even need to explain '' sunghoon said finishing his milkshake leaving us

''he's acting like he has period cramps'' heesung added

''I CAN'T WITH JAKE-  HAHAHAHAH'' Jay can't stop laughing and now holding his tears

''jungwon-ah, did you wait for me?'' ji eun said as she jogged towards me

''uh yeah, my game will start soon and I was just wondering if you'll come there to watch'' I hesitantly said, I know how much I hated bothering her for my basketball games

instead she gave me her bright smile waking up the butterflies in my stomach, as usual I tried to hide it 

''is that even a question , of course I'll go, I'll cheer you up, jungwon-ah'' she said patting my head, i held her hand making her surprised on my sudden act

''I'm not a kid anymore'' I pouted

she smiled and pulled me in a warm hug, I was flustered and really happy because she was always showing me this sweet side of her which made me felt the luckiest

''jungwon-ah you know how much I cherished this cute cheeks of you?'' she said slightly pinching my cheeks ''I'm afraid you will be more mature in the next few years and I can't handle to see you muscly you know that''

''waeyo[why]?'' I asked confused

''don't mind me, I will always be your Noona, no matter what happen'' she said smiling purely and I did not expect my smile to fade for somewhat reason

''you are a graduating student, what are your plans?'' I said trying to change the topic

''it's still a secret though I'm still not sure'' she answered still smiling

''you will still see me in college right?'' I said lowering my voice, I can see on her face how anxious she is right now

''yeah r-right'' she just gave me a small smile ''you have to go your coach might end up looking for you, I don't want you to get scolded''

I waved my hand before turning my back on her 

there is this feeling that will always make me unable to finish and complete my words and even emotion it was really hard to approach her sometimes but still I liked her that much and the pain  I'm taking is from the expectations that she will be able to look at me more than friends but base on what she said and for the past years there are no chance for her to change her perspective on me as a little brother

the game was about to start and the cheering squad started their performance, and I heard some are cheering form my name

''yah'' a voice of a girl suddenly yelled from the crowd that made us all looked at her, the girl raised her huge banner with a slogan written ''YANG JUNGWON IS A PLAYBOY, ASKED FOR MY NUDES, FUCKBOY AND A COMPLETE JERK!''

''what is she doing'' I confusedly and mad said

''yang jungwon from chaewon high is not a nice guy don't idolize him!'' she said with her little microphone making her voice more emphasize

she was wearing a different uniform and I'm certain there is something wrong with her, the crowd is now gossiping and here I am still looking for an answer

she ran towards me and removed her facemask, she was now tearing up, looking at me like I did the biggest sin that affected her so much, I don't even know her, and don't even have both exes and girlfriend.

''you insulted me too much, I will never forgive you, you will pay for this!'' she cried
