A/N- Hey author here! So this is my first ever fanfic that I wrote seriously so yeah... Hope you enjoy it. ( Yes, this is the song at the end of Ranboo's stream. I liked the ominous feeling to it so I added it here. )
(( These are middlemist reds-
TW- Death.
"Shit." Sapnap scoffed as he proceeded to expel flowers from his mouth. He looked at the disgustingly beautiful flowers lying in his hands. The flowers levitated in the blood that came up with them. He slowly limped to the bathroom and sat over the toilet. He watched as the blood-dipped flowers slid from his hands into the toilet. He flushed them and he went to wash his hands.
'God why, why, would I ever think he could love the likes of ME' he thought as he went to sit by the toilet. Tears streamed down his face.
'Now I have to deal with this...' he sat there sobbing. 'Well, not ne- NO NO! I couldn't get my feelings removed. I don't want to. I- I- don't want to lose this feeling, but what am I to do?' He just couldn't let the thought slip through that maybe it's time to get over him. Over his best friend. He rested there letting his mind run. He didn't want to- no he wouldn't get these feelings removed, but if he didn't he'd soon die. He'd be gone. Then what's the point? He's just letting this unrequited love kill him slowly and painfully. He watched as his beloved got better each day as he slowly got absorbed into an undeniable death.
"HE HAS GEORGE UGH! WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME???" He wailed as he turned to cough more flowers up into the toilet. He looked down to see what kind of flowers were sprouting within him. They were the most admirable plants he had ever seen. They were middlemist red's. The vibrant red they emitted was so orphic Sap couldn't look away. The only issue was they were sheltered with his blood. God did he wish he didn't have to go through this. He snapped out of it and sat there hopelessly. Should he go and talk to his tall freckled love? Or should he just die slowly to avoid this situation completely?
Ping! Sapnap's phone binged. Slowly he got up and struggled his way to his phone laying on his kitchen counter. It was Dream. Lust filled Sapnap as he eagerly opened his phone and went to his messages.
"Hey, you doing okay? You haven't streamed or talked to anyone lately. Why is that? Are you sick?"
Sapnap's lust suddenly faded as he read that message. He had been so careless he didn't even tell anyone anything. He just disappeared.
"Ah, sorry yeah I haven't been feeling well and I didn't tell anyone not even the media. I'm so selfish. I'm sorry." Frantically Sap hit send.
"Dude why are you sorry? We just want to make sure you are okay, no need to feel this way. You aren't selfish, we all get like this. It's okay."
Sapnap loved but also hated this message. He wished Dream wrote 'My love' or something heartwarming instead of 'dude'. Not like this helpless brunette could do anything anyways.
"Yeah, ig ur right :) I miss you."
"Can I possibly come over?"
"What abt George?"
"He'll be fine, plus I'm worried abt you and I miss you :<"
"But my place is a mess and I look horrible.."
"Pandas.you.never.look.horrible. >:("
Sapnap was surprised Dream still wanted to call him that. He also appreciated the compliment. Suddenly he felt the urge to throw up. Swiftly he dashed to the bathroom as more blood protected flowers flew out.
'I can't let Dream see this. Oh no. He can't come over. No. no. no.' Sapnaps mind started to dash around as he started to have a panic attack. His steady breathing soon turned heavy and shaky. The world around him started to turn. What if this was the last time he saw Dream? What if... What if- he tried to get Dream to like him. No. He couldn't even fathom trying that. His eyes filled with tears as they came rushing down his rosy cheeks. He just about collapsed when he heard a hard knock at the door. Curse Dream for living so close.
Sapnap briskly woke up and flushed as he checked himself out in the mirror to make sure he was in the least a bit presentable. His brunette hair was all messy and greasy. He was so skinny now from all the throwing up and lack of appetite. He probably smelt horrible because he had been way too weak to get up and shower. He looked emaciated. He was wearing a huge hoodie and boxers because that's all that fit. The hoodie hit just below his knees. Speedily he pulled his hair into a ponytail so it was less noticeable and bolted to the door. Slowly, he opened it.
"U-uh hi," Sapnap managed
"Oh. My. God." Dream charged at Sapnap and hugged him as hard as possible.
"What happened to you???? You look so scrawny and different and- and-" Dreams eyes scanned Sap's house.
"Are you sure you're okay??? It seems like you have a life-threatening disease! What happened? You NEED to tell me everything." Dream huffed as he carried Sap to the couch.
"I-I'm fine honestly, promise." He averted eye contact.
"Liar. Look at me and tell me everything."
"U-uh... I- uhm..."
"Humm? Go on. Please?"
Suddenly, Sapnap threw up flowers all over himself and Dream. The blood slowly seeping into their clothes.
"Y-you.... N-no... H-Hanahaki d-disease?" Dream stuttered as his eyes started to blur. Tears built up then rolled down his freckled cheeks.
"How long?" He continued.
"About a month and a half...." Sap sobbed. He rubbed his eyes with his sleeves. They felt so dry he didn't even want to keep them open. They hurt.
"You should have told me sooner.. If you don't mind me asking, who is it?" Dream pushed. Hoping he could help.
"It's you." Sapnap bluntly said.
"W-what..? B-but I have George and I-I don't love you like that..."
Sapnap looked down at his blood-stained clothes. He chuckled.
"Exactly."
Dream sat there terrified and confused. He stared at his sickly looking friend. He was in disbelief. He couldn't even imagine the pain he went through. He knew he couldn't return the feelings. He couldn't. He wasn't able to. He had George. He couldn't just leave him in the dust. Nothing sprouted, no idea, no mutual feelings... He had to rush Sapnap to the hospital...
"Whoever said love didn't kill... was a fucking liar," Sap huffed before he fell onto Dream's shoulder enveloped by his warmth. Flowers started to blur his vision as they sprouted on his face. It was the end of the road. The bucket had been kicked. Finally, Sapnap was suffocated by those damn middlemist reds, Dream's favorite flower.
"P-pandas?" Dream struggled. He shook the lifeless brunette in his hands. No response. He scanned what used to be his best friend's face now ruled by flowers before breaking down. He was too late.
A/N- Sorry if this feels rushed! I tried my best!!! Please leave requests here I guess.. I'm not really sure how Wattpad works... **No smut** :))
