Taehyung felt his shirt getting wet. He was worried, was it something very sad?

He tried to get out of Jungkook's hold so he could look at his face and talk to him. When he tried to push the older softly, Jungkook's grip only got tighter.

"N-no please don't leave.."

It broke Taehyung's heart to hear Jungkook sound so vulnerable.

"I'm not going anywhere kookie, just let me wipe your tears okay? Talk to me-"

"No, i-i don't want you to s-see me like this-"

Taehyung pushed Jungkook forward with all his force, only to see Jungkook's red face and tears all over. He cupped the older's face with both his palms.

"'See you like this'? You look so cute I'm glad I could see this face of yours-"

"Whatever you stupid bunny" and they both laughed

"I just didn't want you to see me cry.. have you ever seen an alpha cry?-"

Jungkook loved how comforting Taehyung was, and the nickname he used made it even better.

"Your father's death... I thought he died in a war"

"That's what I thought too, but after reading the letter-" they were interrupted by a knock on the door

It was Namjoon, he let himself in the room followed by Seokjin, a sleepy Yoongi clinging onto Jimin, Hoseok, Baekhyun and Chanyeol.

"Who the fuck visits someone at 2am?"

"You did Jungkook" and Jungkook shut himself at Yoongi's response

"Anyway, I called y'all to discuss about Jisung"

"What is it?"

"We all thought Jungkook's father died in a battle, but that was a lie. It was Jeon Jisung who killed him. He was the first son and Jungkook was the second. Unlike Jungkook who was a born as a pure blood alpha, Jisung was born like an other normal alpha. He thought he would be the next lead alpha of the pack after his father.. but he decided that Jungkook would be his successor. Jisung killed his father out of anger" Namjoon said

"So what was there in the letter?" Taehyung asked

"It said about Jisung having a dark heart which desires power, and that's why he didn't get his place as lead alpha" Namjoon replied

"So Jisung thinks Jungkook got his position because of his rank" Baekhyun said

"Precisely, which we know is actually not true" Seokjin said

"Wait, if Jisung was Jungkook's brother then.." Chanyeol trailed off

"Yeah Jungkook, you've never mentioned even once" Jimin said

"I- I didn't even know he was my brother" Jungkook said the truth

"How is that possible?" Hoseok asked

"It is, Jisung erased his existence from Jungkook's memory" Namjoon said

"How do you know that?" Seokjin asked and the others looked at him curiously

"I did some digging into people related Ilsung when we were finding stuff about the Darkblood pack house ruins.. he did so many illegal stuff and erased many memories using a healer. She had powers to do that" Namjoon said

"Is that healer alive?" Jungkook asked

"No, she's dead. So he asked Ilsung's help to erase Jungkook's memories of Jisung" Namjoon replied

"Why did Ilsung agree to help?" Jimin asked

"He had plans to conquer, he trained me to kill Namjoon remember?" Baekhyun said

"That's partially correct but not exactly... it was because Ilsung was in need of a heir. Knowing the Jungkook was a pure blood alpha, he must have wanted one as a heir for himself"

"So he killed Baekhyun because he wasn't one.." Chanyeol said anger laced in his voice. Because of Ilsung, Baekhyun nearly died and he thought he was dead.

"Yes. And that's why he wanted Taehyung, because a male omega's blood is all it takes for a pure blood alpha to develop"

"Um.. does that mean Soobin-" Hoseok said and Jungkook perked up when Soobin was mentioned

"Soobin is just a kid, we have to wait till we find out his rank"

"So... what do we do now?"

"With everything that happened recently, finding rogues very often, the ruins of Darkblood, Jisung threatening us, this could only mean one thing-"

"It was already decided Namjoon he wants war" Yoongi said, sleepily concluding because all he wanted to do was sleep at the moment.

"We must be ready for he might attack us whenever" and the others nodded in response

"Chanyeol, you should start living here, now that even Baekhyun has moved here"

"But I must patrol-"

"No Chanie, it's dangerous.. you were already in danger once, and I nearly lost my life once and we missed so many years of being together, we must compensate for it now" Baekhyun said looking at Chanyeol straight in the eyes.

And obviously, Chanyeol would never go against Baekhyun's words, because he knows Baekhyun would always be right.

"Alright, I'll move here"

"That's good"
