Jungkook stands in front of the room, regretting the decision he made... which was asking Yoongi or Hoseok for Taehyung's number. He caught them sucking each other's faces, and Yoongi just said "be happy you got to watch free porn"

"What the fuck no Yoongi, I need Taehyung's phone number"

"Wasn't porn enough?" Yoongi asked with a smug grin plastered on his face.

"Oh shut up Yoongs" Hoseok said and read out Taehyung's number from his phone.

"Thanks Hobi" Jungkook said and ran back to his room and jumped on his bed. He hit his knee on the cot during the process, but couldn't sense the pain because he was way excited to call Taehyung.

"What am I, a kid? Calm the fuck down kook" he thought to himself when he thought of the silly stuff he just did.

He starred at his phone before calling him, then an idea popped in his mind.

He pressed the call button, and also the record one.

"Hello?"

"Damn.. his voice" Jungkook thought, but thankfully didn't say that out loud.

He assumed Taehyung was asleep because he sounded sleepy. Yoongi told him earlier that he was very busy recently with work, and pulls all-nighters often. If he was sleeping, it was surprise. Jungkook felt a wave of guilt wash over him for waking up Taehyung on the only night he decided to sleep early.

"Um.. did I wake you?"

"Yeah"

Jungkook was going to die of guilt.

"I- I'm sorry, go sleep-"

"No no Jungkook, it's okay... besides I was the one who asked you to call me"

Jungkook wanted to kill himself now. He woke Taehyung on the only day he decided to rest, and isn't even mad at him. If he was in Taehyung's shoes, he wouldn't have hesitated to yell at whoever called him at that time of the night. Taehyung being kind and humble to him was only increase his guilt.

"Are you sure? You sound really sleepy"

Taehyung chuckled on the other side, Jungkook liked that sound, he wanted to hear that again.

"I told you it's alright, did you have dinner?"

"Yes I did" Jungkook replied followed by a yawn which was unheard by Taehyung.

"Glad to hear that... you always used to skip dinner you know? Jin hyung would then threaten you with a frying pan to eat"

Taehyung smiles at himself at the old memory. He really wished Jungkook would remember that though.

"You never took care of yourself or your health... you've always been passionate about what you do, doesn't matter what it is"

Taehyung remembered that time they traveled to Daegu for the audition way back when they were highschool students and Jungkook's outstanding performance. He also remembered those times Jungkook bullied him, he hated the fact that he was a total wimp back then.
