Everyone met up at the hospital except Baekhyun and Chanyeol. After Taehyung called them, the couple stayed back in the pack house, just incase Jisung might attack the mansion with the rogues.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Taehyung was restless. He was walking back and forth in front of the door. Soobin was asleep on Jimin's lap, Namjoon kept trying to calm Taehyung down but failed. Yoongi and Hoseok were getting some paper work done.

They were at the hospital Joshua works at. Joshua got permission to heal Jungkook by himself alone without the other doctors of the hospital. He had Seokjin's help.

They came out and Taehyung bombed them with questions.

"Is he okay? What was it? Did he-"

"Tae calm down, he's fine and he's just sleeping" Seokjin said

"What was it?" Namjoon asked

"It was wolfsbane mixed with thallium. Thallium poisoning happens the slowest, it is also one of the most deadliest poisons out there. And wolfsbane too" Joshua said

Taehyung was breaking down as he started putting all the blame on himself. He thought, maybe if he never wanted to meet Jungkook at the park, none of this would have happened.

Seokjin hugged Taehyung and told him it was alright, and Jungkook was safe now. So Taehyung took the attempt to calm down.

"Let him sleep well for a while, he'll wake up on his own when his body thinks it had a good rest. He'll be completely normal when he wakes up, so there's nothing to worry about" Joshua said

Seokjin asked Taehyung about his eye color which was still blue, Taehyung explained what happened.

Even after Namjoon, Seokjin and Jimin witnessed Taehyung's rare male omega abilities earlier, they still believed it was just a myth. But this time, they were sure those male omega abilities actually exist, and Taehyung was proof.

And like Joshua said, Jungkook woke up the next day.

He could feel something on his stomach, and something holding his hand, while he felt something heavy on his other arm. He slowly opened his eyes to find a cat curled up and sleeping on him. It was the black cat he saved on that stormy night.

On his right arm on the right side of the bed, he found Soobin sleeping. He had his leg on Jungkook's body and snuggled his face on his father's shoulder.

On the left his, he found Taehyung holding his hand. He had a puffy face and tear stained cheeks, so he assumed the younger was crying.

He was having a feeling of deja vu (stan nct dream, and nct before its too late :)), then he remembered that time he got sick, and Taehyung took care of him that night.

Joshua entered the room to check on Jungkook, seeing that sight, he left the room to leave the family alone.

He looked at Taehyung, and found out the he was sleeping in a very uncomfortable position, but he soon woke up.

Jungkook saw Taehyung opening his eyes and went back to lying down, and pretended to sleep.

He soon felt Taehyung's palm, and fingers run through his hair. His other hand was stroking his own hand. Having Taehyung brush his hair with his fingers was so relaxing, he could have fallen asleep.

He sensed Taehyung get up and lean in. He planted a kiss on the older's forehead.

Taehyung was suddenly dragged on top of Jungkook, his face hitting Jungkook's chest. He looked up to see Jungkook smiling at him.

"Good morning sweetheart"

Taehyung was blushing madly, his face was bright red from all the blood rushing to his face.

"E-Ew stinky morning breath" Taehyung said in attempt to get away from Jungkook and hide his flustered face. But in reality, he wanted Jungkook to kiss him right there. And that's what happened.

Jungkook didn't care if it really was his morning breath the reason Taehyung desperately wanted to leave, he pulled the younger closer enough for his lips to reach Taehyung's.

Jungkook didn't know what had gotten into him that made him brave enough to take the initiative to kiss Taehyung.

They pulled away because they were in need of oxygen, Taehyung could still feel Jungkook's lips ghosting over his own, breaths mingling...

"Good morning.. dads...?" said a squeaky voice from the other side of the bed that made Taehyung stand up straight

Jungkook was astonished seeing Taehyung acting faster than light when flustered.

"G-good morning binnie" Taehyung said and walked over to Soobin and pecked his nose

Soobin giggled and sat up straight on Jungkook, who was still lying down because of the ivs keeping him from moving too much.

"Appa, we couldn't go the park..." Soobin said with a sad pout and continued

"But I'm happy you're okay!" He said with a smile

Jungkook remembered Taehyung telling him earlier about Soobin being super excited about going out with him, as a family.

Jungkook kissed his son's forehead.

"Binnie, can you go dress up for me? Let's go to the park today"

"Really?" Soobin asked with excitement laced in his voice, his round and beautiful eyes sparkling

"Yes baby now go get ready" Jungkook said as he chuckled at how cute Soobin was

"Okay!" Soobin leaped out of the bed, and out of the hospital room to find Joshua

"Kook, you still need to recover-"

"It's nothing Tae, I'm an alpha remember?"

"Yeah but still, and what if Jisung attacks us again?"

Jungkook gripped the younger's wrist softly and made him sit on his lap.

"If we keep worrying about Jisung, we'll never be able to live freely... and there's no way I'm letting my family live in fear for the rest of your lives"

"So... what are you gonna do?"

"Kill him, I want this to end once and for all"

"Also, why exactly does he want us dead? For bluemoon?"

"No entirely honey... as we know, I'm a pureblood alpha and you're a male omega... we're both the most rarest ranks of our kind. So our son, the child of a pureblood alpha and and male omega, is literally the most powerful rank in the whole werewolf kind"

Taehyung now got why Soobin wasn't killed, Jisung wanted Soobin for his blood, so he could be on top of the hierarchy.

"Mhm" Taehyung sighed understanding what Jungkook told him, and laid on his chest

"Don't worry Tae, I'll protect us"

"I know you will" Taehyung said smiling, and closed his eyes while listening to Jungkook's heartbeat.
