"Should I really be a part of this?" Taehyung groaned.

"Yes, you have to" Baekhyun said firmly and Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"So the reason we're here is because of Jisung" Namjoon spoke

"And Chanyeol got us a lot of information" Namjoon said, and motioned Chanyeol to speak.

"So today, I was near the ruins of Darkblood, like we always patrol the area. We've always had the thought of rogues using the ruins as a place for them to live, and it's kinda true. I saw someone walking in the building, but it was dark and I couldn't see who that was. I chased him but he ran away, but saw him leaving a paper behind which was meant for me to see. I took the note and read it, and he came to attack me, I fought and I knew I couldn't beat him so I decided to run" Chanyeol says, and places the torn piece of paper on the table.

"I'll destroy both Silverstone and Bluemoon
- jjs"

Seokjin reads.

"We need to act fast" Hoseok says and the others nod in agreement.

No one noticed the change in Taehyung's eye color... they were the same bright blue that Namjoon, Seokjin and Jimin saw.

"If Jisung wants war, then let's give him what he wants" Jungkook says.

It had been a few days after the incident of Chanyeol finding Jisung. Everyone were extremely cautious after that cause know one knows if he'll attack them.

But that did not disturb any of their lifestyles. Joshua had been meeting Jungkook everyday for a few hours.

Chanyeol started living in the pack house with Baekhyun, since the place near the ruins was too dangerous as he was already attacked once. Even if Chanyeol was ready to live there, Baekhyun wasn't.

Picking up Taehyung from work and dropping him home after dinner became a part of Jungkook's schedule. They would go out to a restaurant, talk about random things for a few minutes, and eat in silence.

Today was no exception. Taehyung said his goodbyes to Bogum, and was waiting for Jungkook. Unfortunately, it was raining cats and dogs and he didn't have an umbrella. He stood inside the building, looking through the glass doors for Jungkook's car.

He saw Jungkook's car arrive, he was late by about one hour though. As soon as the car stopped, Taehyung ran into the car. He put on his seat belt and turned on the air-conditioner. He wouldn't turn it on because it was already a bit cold because of the rain, but the glasses were fogging up which would make it hard for Jungkook to drive. But little did he know the man next to him was shivering visibly due to the cold.

After a few minutes of drive in the heavy rain, they reached a restaurant and decided to eat there. They parked the car, went inside, and took a seat near a glass wall with a night view of the street lights and heavy rain.

And that was first time Taehyung saw Jungkook that day. Jungkook was completely drenched. He was soaking wet. He was pale with his cheeks and the tip of his nose, a deep shade of red. His clothes and hair were damp, his shirt was sticking to his skin, and air was just making his situation worse.

But he didn't understand why he was wet. Taehyung was a little bit wet because of that time he walked from the building to the car, and from the car to the restaurant. He ran fast so he wasn't that wet, but Jungkook did the same.

"Jungkook-ah why are you wet..?"

He could see Jungkook's teeth beginning to chatter, he was shivering. Taehyung got up from his place, and sat right next to Jungkook. He took off Jungkook's wet, damp coat and put his own drier coat on him. Jungkook stiffed up at Taehyung's actions. He held the older's hand which was shaking. He knew Taehyung was doing this to heat him up, and he indeed succeeded in doing that. Not only did he warm his body, but also his heart by his actions.

"I- I was on my way to pick you up, but then I saw an abandoned kitten on the street. I tried catching it, but ran away even though it was injured. It hid very well so I spent a long time looking for it... in the rain. After finding it, I didn't have the heart to give it away and make his life miserable again, so I went back home and left him there"

"So.. you're gonna keep him?"

"Yeah"

So that's why he was wet, and avoided the air-conditioner. Now it made sense. It made Taehyung feel bad for turning on the air-conditioner. If Jungkook got sick, he was ready to take all the blame.

Jungkook sneezes, and Taehyung gives him a tissue. Taehyung linked their arms and rubbed it in attempt to make it a bit warmer. He thought Jungkook was blushing, but then he remembered his face was red because of the cold. But actually, Jungkook was blushing. It's a shame Taehyung didn't know about the effect he had on the older.

They ordered their food and ate in silence. After they were done, Taehyung insisted on driving because of Jungkook's condition, he was very drowsy. He drove away to the Bluemoon pack house. It didn't take much time for Jungkook to fall asleep as they started.

The rain had finally stopped, but it was still cloudy and night sky was more darker than usual.

Taehyung took a few glances at Jungkook. The street lights shone on face, pale skin tinted red at some parts, his lips and eyelashes glistening because of the wetness. If Taehyung hadn't gotten out of his staring-at-his-mate session, they probably would have died in an accident.

Once they finally reached the pack house, Taehyung didn't have the heart to wake up the peaceful sleeping male, so he put one of Jungkook's arm on his shoulder and snaked his own arm around the older's waist.

Hoseok and Yoongi saw Taehyung struggling to carry Jungkook so they help him all the way to his bedroom.

"Damn he's heavy"

"Well he ain't called a muscle pig for nothing"

"What about you now Tae?"

"I'll go home..?"

"It's not safe though, considering what happened to you the other day"

"Yeah, if your brother wasn't there, who knows what might have happened to you?"

"You should stay here for the night" Yoongi says and Hoseok nodded in agreement.
