"So what flavor do you guys want?"

"I want chocolate!" Soobin said with excitement laced in his voice

"I'll go with chocolate too" Jungkook said

"Alright, I'll go order" Taehyung said and walked away from the table to the counter.

Soobin was swaying his legs which were dangling in the air, and kept chanting 'ice cream'... like your typical three year old. Jungkook unconsciously smiled at his son being so cute.

Soobin looked at Jungkook smiling at him, and smiled back.

"Dad.. can I ask you something?"

"Sure binnie"

"Where were you all this time?"

Jungkook didn't know how to reply to that. He definitely didn't want to lie to his son, but he wouldn't tell the three year old a long ass story of his amnesia. It would be too much for Soobin to wrap his head around.

"I was busy with... work"

"Ohh" Soobin nodded and continued

"Everyone at school had two parents, but I only had one... one day I found appa and uncle Jimin talking about someone and appa was crying. Later I found many pictures in his room, it was with another man, it was you dad. He even cried about someone called Jungkook, so that day when we met, I knew it was you-"

Jungkook hugged Soobin tightly. He didn't want to show his teary eyes to the boy. He felt more guilty than before, even after Taehyung assuring him that it was not his fault.

"I'm so sorry Soobinnie..."

"About what dad?"

Jungkook couldn't say anything and right in the moment, Taehyung came.

"Your ice cream is here, come on let's dig in" Jungkook said changing the topic.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook with a 'what happened?' look, and Jungkook mouthed 'nothing'.

Taehyung sat next to Soobin with Jungkook on their opposite side. Jungkook kept stealing glances at his mate, and Taehyung very well knew. He was trying so hard to not blush, but it was impossible.

He was also trying to not get any ice cream on his lips because he doesn't want another k-drama scene. And fortunately for Taehyung, nothing happened.

After having a good time with his family, Jungkook decided to drop Taehyung and Soobin back at Silverstone. Soobin kept whining that he wanted to stay with Jungkook, but Taehyung dragged him because he had school the next day so he had to sleep early.

To Jungkook's surprise, Taehyung first initiated a goodbye kiss, which to his disappointment didn't last long because it was already late for the three year old's bed time.

But even if it was just a few seconds, he could still feel it as if it just happened. He smiled to himself at the thought while driving back to Bluemoon.

Taehyung was happy, it was his day off. Lately, his life has been very fun and eventful after meeting Jungkook once again. He was glad that Yoongi made Jungkook pick him up a few weeks back.

Soobin had been saying he wanted to meet Jungkook ever since their arcade and ice cream date.

He heard Jungkook was very busy lately with finding Jisung, so he thought he would need a break as well. So he decided to ask him out for a simple stroll in the park. Not too exciting because he knew Jungkook wouldn't have the energy to go somewhere else.

So here Taehyung was, in front of the mirror searching for a presentable outfit.

A while ago, Jimin came in the room and teased him for what he was doing. But there was nothing wrong in trying to look good for your boyfriend right?

Taehyung and Jungkook were more than just boyfriends though, they even have a three year old son. They could be married by now during these three years. But due to the unfortunate events...

Taehyung sighed and flopped on the bed. It was just a simple stroll in the park, why bother so much?

He wore a white shirt with denim jacket and jeans. He didn't want to look extravagant going to the park. After all, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

He went down to Soobin and Yeonjun's shared room, and found Soobin in a pink hoodie with bunny ears on the hood. Taehyung cooed at his son. He reminded him of Jungkook, who looked like a bunny himself.

He took Soobin's small hand in his own, and walked out to the living room. He found Seokjin and Baekhyun on the couch crying over a sad scene in a drama, with an annoyed Jimin.

"Did he really forget her?"

"Why do mermaids have such abilities?"

"The moron midget said the drama has a happy ending"

"It really is! This is one of the best dramas I've watched!" Jimin said already annoyed in the middle of Baekhyun and Seokjin's chattering

"What's the name again?" Baekhyun asked sniffing

"The legend of the blue sea-"

"HOW IS HE GONNA REMEMBER SHIM CHUNG?" Jin said in tears

"Woah, great snot fountain hyung" Jimin said

"Bitch-"

"NO SWEARING" Taehyung yelled and covered Soobin's ears.

The three watching the drama turned around to notice Taehyung.

"When did you get there?" Baekhyun asked

"Long enough to see Seokjin hyung's snot fountain, anyway I'm going to the park to meet Jungkook-"

"I swear to god Kim Taehyung-"

"Ooooohh on a date-" Jimin said

"Say that one more time, it's you who'll be forgotten"

"What? Are you gonna deny the fact you love him?" Jimin asked

"Of course not, you're just annoying" Taehyung said and grinned and Jimin rolled his eyes

"Whatever, shoo off" Jimin said

Taehyung and Soobin waved goodbye and went out.

The park was quite near, so they decided to walk. Taehyung and Soobin walked hand in hand through the woods. Even though the park was quite near, Taehyung decided to take a shortcut through the forest. It wasn't dark so there was nothing to be afraid of. Or so he thought...

While they were walking, Taehyung could hear the rustling of the grass. It wasn't him or Soobin because they were walking on the small path. He could hear the snapping of twigs. He sensed someone was around, and he was right.

"Here you are... Kim Taehyung"

Taehyung turned around to the owner of the voice and stood frozen on spot.
