What do I do now?

The rest of the school day was pretty uneventful for Mina, she hung out with her friends, pretended to be paying attention in class. Nothing more, nothing less.

"Hey, you alright?" An oh-so sweet voice broke Mina out of her daydreaming.

Looking up, she saw her. Ochako Uraraka, the one person who could bend Mina at her will. Yeah, she was in deep.

"W-what? Oh yeah, Im fine!" Resting her chin on her palm, she kept eye contact with the brunette. Her elbow propping her head up over her desk.

"You seemed kinda out of it today, are you sure?" Uraraka tilted her head to the side, she was always so caring. It made Ashido's heart skip a beat.

"Pshhh, I told you, I'm fine!" She exclaimed, this time standing up, giving off her usual demeanor.

"If you insist." Ochako smiled, stepping back, giving Mina room to stand up and pick up her stuff.

"So, where are you headed?" She asked once Mina collected her belongings.

"A hell house." Ashido muttered, now in the schools hallway with Uraraka.

The brown-eyed girl chuckled lightly at this "Oh really? And where may that be?" She asked, walking backwards to look at Mina from in front of her.

"Conveniently, at the exact same spot I work at!" She put up a hand to cup her own face, acting almost surprised at her own words.

Both girls were cackling in no time, both continuously adding jokes to their conversation. At one point Ochako almsot tripped over from laughing so hard, this lead to Uraraka walking straight-forward and beside Ashido.

By the time both girls were at the schools entrance, Ashido was giggling and looking at Uraraka with a love-struck expression.

That was until she remembered Midoryia's words.

Her gaze fell sad, causing her to stop laughing, luckily Ochako was also done with her laughing frenzy.

"So, does your shift start now or...?"
Ochakos eyes moved towards Mina.

"Gimmie a sec..." She mumbled before pulling our her phone, checking the time. "In about fifteen minutes or so." Mina but her phone back in her pocket.

"Aw, that's a bummer" Uraraka pouted.

"Why'd you say that?" the pink haired girl gave her friend a slightly puzzled look.

"Well I wanted to hang out more, silly!" Those words might as well have been the cause of Ashido's death.

Mina couldn't help but get flustered, she wasn't stupid, she knew that those words were friendly and could easily be seen as platonic. But mere thought of Uraraka wanting to spend extra time with Mina made her head feel dizzy and bones light.
