That night, when Mina arrived at her house, she instantly collapsed on her bed. Her parents quickly got concerned, knowing she never left or came back home without a quick peck on the cheek.
After Mina assured them that she was simply tired, they decided to not push on whatever was bothering their daughter. Quietly hoping she wasn't lying.
She hadn't even changed her clothes, rolling over so her back was on the mattress, her finger hovered over a contact in her phone. Said contact was under the name of 'Bakubabe', the silly nickname did nothing to lighten Ashido's mood.
The poor girl groaned and rubbed her eyes with her free hand, right before rolling back over on her stomach, stuffing her face in the soft blanket. Thankfully, she wasn't wearing make-up.
She looked up from the bed and called her friend. He had to know how she lied about her relationship with him.
The fact that he always fell asleep even before her shift was over hadn't crossed her mind until the 5th beep.
"C'mon, wake up and answer my call, damnit!" She whisper yelled into her phone.
The first time he didn't answer, she called him back in an instant.
Bakugou answered around the 7th beep after the 3rd time Mina tried reaching him.
"The hell do you want" a gruff voice asked from the other side of the line.
"I need your help." She said quietly, making the blonde sit up on his bed in surprise, almost dropping his phone.
She sounded so sad...
Once he managed to get his phone back up to his ear, he continued the conversation.
"What did you do?" He knew this was serious, Ashido never sounded so vulnerable around others, unless she was truly upset, it wasn't a sight you'd see often.
