This wasn't supposed to happen

Today's gonna be a long, long day.

Ashido stepped out of the bus, earphones still plugged while she started walking towards her school.

Okuōikojō Station was about a 5-10 minute walk away from U.A.

She took her phone out of her pocket, the wire from her earphones dangling on her arm.

8:22.

Shit.

Homeroom started in three minutes.
If there was a god out there, Mina was sure they hated her.

She knew she was going to be late either way, so running to her class wouldn't accomplish much, besides the possibilty of ending up drenched in sweat.

So, instead of sprinting towards U.A. Mina started skipping, it was the perfect amount of relaxation and fun, in her opinion.

Ashido put her phone back in her pocket, and enjoyed the scenery.
All types of beautiful plants and trees entered Mina's field of vision, lightly hoping twice on her right leg and once on her right leg, that with the soft song she was listening to.

Mina felt like she was in a movie, like she was the main character in a movie.

It almost made her forget why she was so emotionally exhausted that morning, all until she saw her.

Uraraka was just walking through the school gates when Ashido noticed her, the brunette wore a nervous look on her face, probably caused by the fear of being late.

Mina barely caught herself, she almost scoffed at the sight. Not because of Uraraka on her own, she could never blame Ochako for her feelings.
Instead, she was laughing at herself in her own mind.

The main character? How could she be the main character, Ochako's presence had to remind her.

The main character always gets the girl.

Now slowed down, Ashido started to approach her.

"Ochako? Since when are you late?"

The two girls talked all the way to class.
Mina found out the reason Ochako was late was due to the bus.

Ashido noticed how anxious her friend was, understandably so, this was one of the first times she was late.
Finding the urgent need to comfort Uraraka, Mina put her hand on the girls shoulder, also rapping the same arm behind Ochakos neck, and slowly started rubbing circles.

"Hey, at least you have a good excuse for being late." She chuckled before continuing, "I woke up like barely an hout ago, as long as I'm beside you as you enter class, you won't get in trouble."

Ochako giggled at this, then quickly frowned, "Heyyy, I don't want you to get in trouble!" She pouted and whined.

The dark-skinned girl found this incredibly amusing and adorable, she turned her head to face Ochako.

"Gah! You're just too cute y'know that?"

Minas bright face was quickly mirroring Urarakas flustered one, barely a couple centimeters away from hers.

Mina quickly backed away, almost falling over "We should head to class!" She managed to squeak out in a high-pitched voice.

Soon they both arrived at the door of their classroom, Ochako nervously grabbed the handle and turned it, they both immediately started apologizing the moment they entered class.

Their Homeroom teacher, Mr Aizawa, stared at the two teenagers before pinching the bridge of his nose "Just... Go to your seats, the both of you"

The girls nodded and sprinted back to their assigned seats, thankfull their teacher seemed too tired to give them any punishment, or even care too much about them being late.

Once it was lunch, Ashido was immediately dragged towards her friend's table "HEY! I can walk on my on you know!"  She yelled, half heartedly, before sitting down with the rest of her friends.

Denki looked at her expectingly, she sighed and handed him a box with 10 chicken nuggets from McDonald's. "Here, ya' happy?" She said, jokingly.
The blond quickly took the box and upon opening it he stated that 'her sins have been forgiven', barely finishing the sentence before stuffing his face with Mcnuggets.

As the schoolday ended, Mina was more rushed on going back to work, still feeling guilty about leaving early last time.

However right as she entered the bus, she was greated by Uraraka waving at her fron her seat.

"Ochako? What're you doing here?" She looked shocked, rightfully so, considering she's never seen Uraraka on this bus before.
"Welll,,, I wanted to go back to 'Pearl's Lady' today!" Uraraka truly enjoyed not only the delicious food and drinks at the boba shop, but also Ashido's company. "The tea and cupcakes were amazing, also, I wanted to spend more time with you, if you're alright with that of course!" She was rambling a bit, strangely nervous but nothing too out-of-the-ordinary.

Mina blinked before smiling wide "Of course! I don't mind at all, plus it's nice to have extra company while at work."
Nibi was nice and pretty friendly of course, but her and Mina got along best outside of work, during shift hours she was 'all business and no fun', as Mina put it.

"You know, you should come more often, it's fun having you around during long boring shift hours." Her voice dragged out the last part, showing how much she truly despises her worplace.

Ochako simply giggled and nodded, but that was already enough to make Ashido's head spin.

You're going to be the death of me, Ochako.
