19. Setsuno

Me, Tabe, and Hojo were waiting in the room, until some hero's dropped from the ceiling. Looks like Mimic is doing well. I looked at the Hero's, Eraser Head, Rock Lock, Fat Gum, Suneater, and Nighteye. There were also some other people I couldn't identify including two kids, one with red hair, the other with green.

Looks like we're out numbered. Just then Suneater said "I can deal with them myself!" Eraserhead erased our quirks, just then I took out my sword and Hojo, his gun. We went to attack, but the bullets and swords sunk into Fat Gum. The police took out their guns.

"We can use our weapond as long as Eraser's doing his thing! Surrender now!"

"Treats like that only work on people who value life!"

Just as we were about to attack, Suneater held us with thr tentacles he made. He then crushed our weapons. The rest left, but just as our powers were coming back they got erased again. Eraserhead has also knocked out Tabe. I was angry. Nobody is allowed to hurt my Tabe!

He went to punch us, but got hurt by the blade I keep under my mask. Finally our quirks started working again and Hojo covered himself in crystals. Suneater made a clam shield which I was able to take away using to my quirk.

"Kinda handicapping yourself if you won't kill us! What a charmed life ya must live. We'd given up on life, y'see!! When we tried to kill ourselves by leaping to our deaths a hero caught us! Can you imagine our despair?!"

Hojo continued what I had said. "We don't see the point in living anymore! There's no way you'd understand! But the young boss found a new use for old garbage! Even trash like us have pride. When given a job...you can bet we'll come through!!"

Hojo punched him in the face using his crystals, but Suneater was able to make a shielded claw hand to block it. He then turned into a vast hybrid of seafood, calling himself "Chimera Kraken"

He went crazy, beating us up, until...

"Tabe, wake up! Time to eat!!"

He heard my yelling and went and started eating Suneater. He was chewing up Suneater's octapus arms with ease, he made a shell on his face, which I took away. Hojo punched him using the crystals. Tabe was still eating him, not slowing down. I then took his octapus arms. And Hojo hit him. He was laying on the floor when Hojo said,

"We might be trash, but trash can form solid bonds."

"You'll all be arrested. Whether you beat me or not, you've got no future."

"So what?! Some were tossed aside when they didn't mesh with society. Another was betrayed by a lover and beset with crushing debt. Not even allowed to die, he survived by sucking down water from the gutter, and another became the tool of sole money-grubber. And when that pig figured out my fake gems were worthless, we were deemed just as worthless and beaten to hell and back. That's when he came to us. You think we give a crap what happens after that?! He gave us value. Purpose. So for his sake, we'll take out anything that get's in his way."

Then the hero used his chicken foot to flick a broken crystal in my eye. And produced crystals to take out Hojo, trowing him at Tabe. He then tied us up then passed out.

As he was passed out we broke the thinhs holding us, then left. Limping away. On the way we met Rikiyo who carried us the rest of the way, as we passed out.
