The Lion King: Sarabi's Story

Chapter 5: A New Life

The next day, they headed to the mountains on top. Strangely enough, a young lion can be seen from the distance near a river.

"Where did this cub came from?" Sarabi asked.

"I don't know." Sarafina answered. "Let's greet him."

"Im to curious about that." Dwala said.

When they arrived, they greeted him.

"Who are you?" Sarafina asked.

The young lion said: "I was playing chasing butterflies near the small creek. By the way, my name is Senzou."

Sarafina asked him "Why are you so alone, being so young like us?"

"I could ask you the same." Senzou said, almost in the joking way.

Just as about to say something, Sarabi loudly said "THEY ARE NEAR US!!!"

Without need any explanations, Senzou knew who she was referring to. He took young lionesses to the secret passage, that allowed them to enter on the other side of the mountain (The Pride Lands).

Once safed, Sarafina asked Senzou: "How do you who they are?"

Senzou replied with the quote: "The Outlanders, evil, bloodthirsty lions who didn't have a home, and wonder in the far lands, searching for any food to eat, or just kill for the pleasure."

Thanks to Senzou, Sarabi, Naanda, Diku, Dwala and Sarafina had found a new home. After this, he began to tell his story.

"When i was very, very young, i was without my family, no protection and no where to go." Senzou began "Being small and week, the world was very hostile place, even for me. One day, i found the lions in the distance. I came to them, but their attentions were killing. When i found out, i ran away from them! I eventually found a tree, and climbed on it. When i looked down, they were gone. Not to far away, there was a big rock and some animals could be seen in my eyes. I tried to climbed down, i'm stuck, and im to small to jump without hurting. Just then, the tree branch fell. Thankfully, i was levitaing thanks for the big lions, who are friendly to me. But they are not ordinary lions, they were "The Lion Guards"."

The reason why Senzou agreed to tell his story, was to reassure the two female cubs to go ask for help.

"They give you everything you need, and there were many animals that will be friends to you friends." Senzou said.

Sarabi, her sisters and Sarafina went of, and Sarabi asked Senzou: "Are you coming or what?"

"No." The male cub said. "I don't belong here, but one day, i'll sure will meet again."

"Allright, we will see you there." Sarafina replied, and went of to the Pride Lands.

"This is buitufull." Dwala said to Diku.

"I know." Diku replied. "And it was lot of life around us."

The four cubs met every friendly animals around the Pride Lands, and they went up this big rock. When they arrived, the two leaders entered the cave.

"Hi there strangers." The female lioness said. "What brings you by?"

"Senzou brought us here." The two cubs there, as they told the story of what happend.

Eventually, the male lion proudly said: "I am King Ahadi, and she is Queen Uru, welcome to the Pride Lands."

Translations:

Senzou- Well apparently i have no idea what his meaning is. So, N/A.

Uru- "diamond" or "monitor lizard"

Ahadi- "promise, pledge, agreement, obligation, offer"
