Chapter 20: Friends? [EDITED]

~Y/N's PoV~

Dre and Mr. Han are going somewhere, probably for Dre's training. I didn't want to come with them since i don't want to be a bother

It was 2:34pm, i was outside and going to the nearby store to buy something. I went inside the store and went to the aisles to find what I needed

I looked at the paper that my dad wanted me to buy and read it

"Eggs... Seasoning.. Wha-what is this writing? is my dad secretly a doctor cause this handwriting is confusing to read" I muttered annoyed, I don't know if the problem is my dad's handwriting or my eyes

"Whatever" I say and tried reading it again and grabbed everything what the paper says

"All I need is.." i then tried reading the last item I'll be needing and i'm starting to get annoyed and angry at this handwriting. Somehow I managed to read it

"Corned beef" I read and went to the aisle where the Corned beefs are

I went to the cashier and they grabbed the items I brought and calculated how much I'll be paying. I took out the money and gave it to them. They gave me my exact change and put my items in a paper bag

I grabbed the paper bag, thanked them and I left the store to go home. It wasn't heavy nor light. It was just the perfect weight to carry

Then, someone ran into me and knocked me on the ground "贼！那个人偷了我的钱包!" (Thief! That man stole my wallet!) I heard a woman cry. I was more focus on my items on the ground, I quickly tried picking it up

"让我来帮助你"(Let me help you) I heard a very familiar voice say, i look up to see Cheng.

He quickly crouch down to pick up my stuff and put it back on the paper bag. I stood up and dusted myself. He gave me my stuff back "谢谢"(Thanks) I say as I grabbed the paper bag

I was about to leave him there but he called out "I just want to be friends" He say. I stopped my tracks and looked back at him

I was debating if I should be his friend or not.

Then, I answered him that suprised me. I didn't even think I would say it

"Sure" I answered and walked away.
