Chapter 22: A boring week [EDITED]

~Y/N's PoV~

After what I heard at the auditorium at school. I left the school to go home. I was pretty tired and it was a very hectic day

I heard my phone buzz. I grabbed it from my pocket and it was my dad asking me if I was coming home rn

I texted back 'I'm on my way'. He seened it and sent a like emoji. I put my phone back at my pocket and went home

I have been watching Dre train every single day. When we were at school, Dre kept looking at Meiying like he's a lost puppy without her.

There was that time at the locker when I was waiting for Meiying to grab her stuff. We were still friends since her parents 'approved' me and I was a 'good influence' to Meiying.

At the corner of my eye, I saw Dre looking at our direction but mostly at Meiying. Meiying noticed it and dragged me away from him

She still hasn't told me the reason why she's avoiding him. Well, I already knew why since I saw what happened at the auditorium and I think her parents told her to not talk to Dre ever.

I arrived at my apartment, apparently my dad is going on a businesstrip to Shanghai and he'll be gone for a few days. He told me that he'll be leaving in a few days but I got a call from him that his boss wants him to leave now.

"Hey dad, your already leaving?" I asked him, and he looked at me in sad eyes "Yeah, im sorry. My boss said i have to leave now" He said "It's ok, dad" i said to him and he smiled, ruffled my hair

"Anyway, i changed the plans. You won't be staying with Sherry for a few days" he quickly told me.

"Why?" I asked him "I trust you being alone" he told me. I looked at him in shock, he never does this "What if I bring over boys?" I playfully asked and he smacked me playfully at the arm

"You dont even know any boys except Harry and Dre" He told me with a smirk "Correction, I know Harry's friends and I might bring them over" I playfully told him. He rolled his eyes and smiled

"If that happens, you'll be grounded for a whole year" He told me and i got scared "What?! That's too much!" I yelled. He laughed and looked at his watch

"Oh I gotta go now" he said and he kissed my cheek "If you want to order something, there is cash on the kitchen table. Don't spend it all, use it to buy dinner. You can always eat breakfast and lunch with Sherry and Dre, OK?" He explained to me

"Okay, I will. Bye dad, I love you!" I said while he grabbed his luggage "Love you too!" He said and left the apartment.

It was now sunday. I was cleaning the house. I tried doing the laundry but I almost broke the washing machine. So i did what the 60's do and that is to wash and scrub clothes with hands

When I cleaned almost the whole house. I muttered to myself "I hardly even clean my room and here I am cleaning the whole apartment" I sighed and plopped myself at the couch

I looked at the wall clock. It was only 10am. I want to use my phone to watch something on the Internet but I was too darn tired to watch anything

I sighed and just went to take a nap. I made sure that the front door was locked so no one comes in.
