Chapter 30: Dre Parker will fight! [EDITED]

~Y/N's PoV~

Me and my dad walked in some sort of clinic. I guess this is where they put the injured contestants. We went in a room and saw Dre lying down in a bed. Mr. Han was beside him. We saw a doctor holding the leg that was injured, he was checking it.

Me and my dad both stop and stand on the doorway. The doctor then look at Mr. Han and said "He's done" "I'm sorry. You should not continued. You've brought honor to your family" he continued and faced Dre. My eyes widened at the doctor's words

So that means I'll join the fighting dragons?

Dre looked at Mr. Han so he could tell him what he said. Mr. Han looked at him and said "The doctor says, you did great" Mr. Han said, and Dre just looked away

The doctor left. I saw someone ran pass us, and it was Meiying, Mrs. Parker and Harry.

"You okay, baby?" Dre's mom asked him. Dre just covered the half of his face by his arm

"Yeah, im okay" he said, still covering the half of his face 

I walked away, out the clinic, leaving my dad on the clinic with the others. I went in the stadium and walked around. I then saw Master Li and Cheng in the platform. The annoucer was holding the winner's trophy

"Dre Parker has 2 minutes to return to the match, if he's unable to return. The Fighting Dragons will win by default" the announcer said in the microphone

I was getting scared. If they win, i have to join the Fighting Dragons. I mean, im not scared because Cheng and his gang of friends is in it. I'm scared of Master Li. 

I'm already imagining the days being in there and getting slapped by him just because I accidentally did something wrong. I shivered at the thought.

I then felt someone walk pass me. It was Mr. Han. He ran over on the judges table, i think. He was saying something to the judges.

"Since Dre Parker has not returned to the ring..." i then closed my eyes, ready to hear them win but he trailed off

Murmurs were heard around the stadium. They were confused on what's gonna happened

I quickly opened by eyes to see what's going on. The annoucer was on the judges table, he then nooded and went back to the platform. The announcer has a bright smile on his face

"Dre Parker will fight!" The annoucer exclaimed, and cheers erupted behind and in front of me. I smiled, and i saw Dre walking.

My smile began to fade away, and i said to myself "Oh shoot.."

"He's gonna fight Cheng"
