Lindsay talked with the man finding out his name was Noah. He was married, and had two sons, Gabriel who was the oldest by twenty years of age and the youngest was named Noel. "They sound really nice." Lindsay said smiling. "They are, hard working and very strong. We are a farming family so I only need to run to town a few times to get whatever we might run out of." Noah said smiling. Noah stopped at a small cafe which had sandwiches and soups as well as coffee and many more. "come on sweetie, let's get you some soup. I haven't eaten since this morning and I am very hungry." Noah said kindly.

Lindsay got out of the truck following close behind him, she held his hand since she just wanted that father love. "Aww." Noah said smiling. Lindsay followed Noah inside and they were taken to a booth. He ordered coffee. "Anything for you miss?" The waiter asked. "I'm not sure what to get Noah." She said. "Anything you want sweetie." He said. "I'll get a hot chocolate." She said. "Ok, I'll get you your drinks then come back with the food menus." The waiter said. Few minutes go by and he brings Noah his coffee and Lindsay her hot cocoa.

They drank their hot drinks which made Lindsay tear up. "Anything to eat you two?" "We will get the beef stew with some bread please." Noah spoke. He wasn't gonna eat the beef since he was a cannibal unbeknown to Lindsay though. "But may I get the beef on the side in my stew please?" He asked. "Of course sir." The waiter left.

"So how old are you Lindsay?" Noah asked. "I'm seventeen." She spoke softly. "Wow and you are out here all alone?" He asked. "Yes, my mother is a whore and well she let men come into our home and they would just hurt me. The latest one that would come around he was about to beat me senseless. I never did anything to him. I was always trying to keep my manners and ignore them but it was no use. I got beat anyways. So I just ran away and well, I haven't been able to eat in days." She said. "It shows dear one." Noah said placing his warm hand over her's.

"You need to be with a family who will always love you and protect you." He said honestly. He figured she would be the right fit for Gabriel. "My son would love you. You're sweet, kind and adoring." Noah smiled. The beef stew was brought them with hot bread Noah's bowl empty of any beef but had potatoes and onions and carrots. He gave Lindsay the beef to add to her stew which she already had the beef in. "You could use a bit of extra meat dear." He said.

The two of them ate and Lindsay was just crying since she had been hungry for so long she welcomed the delicious hot spice meat to enter her stomach. When they were done and she had eaten at least half of the bread while Noah had some after her, she drank the juice. "Come on dear, I'm taking you home with me." Noah said sweetly.

"May I use the restroom before we go?" Lindsay asked. "Of course, it is at least an hour drive so best use it now." He laughed. Lindsay raced to the ladies room did her business then washed her hands. Then she met Noah back at the booth. He walked her to the truck then locked them in once they were in. The heat came on and they were both warm.

As the drive went on Lindsay couldn't help but be very happy to be going home to someone who would love her. "Now, my dear, when you are here we do have some rules you must follow." He spoke sternly. "Yes sir?" She asked. "You must not ask any questions, we do like it. And no cussing or fowl language at all in my home and no threatening or harming us. If you break any of these rules you will be punished. But with you, that shouldn't be a problem right?" He asked almost telling her in a warning kind of way. "No sir, I will be on my best behavior I promise." Lindsay with a smile. "I kinda understand the rules too. It's good to keep rules because it helps keep everyone safe." Lindsay smiled.

"Exactly my dear. Gabriel will love you." He said patting her shoulder. As time passed they had made it to the farm. A big two story farm house sat in the middle. A barn to the left with some chickens and a milking cow behind the house. "Here we are." He said joyfully. Noah's wife was in the kitchen cooking. "Since you've been good I will see about Beth making you some warm milk Lindsay." "Ok, is there honey?" Lindsay asked. She then stopped herself. "Don't worry that is allowed yes we do." Noah led Lindsay up the steps onto the massive porch and his youngest son of age ten came out. "Mom Dad's back with a girl?" He spoke. "Hey there little guy what's your name?" Lindsay asked. "It's Noel. What's yours?" He asked sweetly. "I'm Lindsay." She said laughing. "Hey darling, how was your day?" Beth asked. "It was good, prepare some warm milk and honey baby e got a guest." Gabriel went over to Beth whispering to her.
