There were a hundred reasons why Kageyama wasnt Hinata's soulmate. For example: His soulmate could be anywhere in the entire world so out of 8 billion people, was there really a chance for Kageyama to be Hinata's soulmate out of all 8 billion people in the world.
Nope not a chance. He didnt really get a good look at Kageyama's pendant anyways. So he might be wrong. Maybe he thought he saw something he actually didnt. He might have bad eyesight.
No matter how much Hinata tried to deny it though, He knew the truth. Hinata had perfect eyesight and he saw the pendant nice and clear.
