Chapter 5

Hinata's cheeks lit up when he accidentally made eye contact with Kageyama who was across the room. He bawled his hands into fist and turned his head to look away.

"Sup with you?" A voice behind him rang. Hinata subconsciously jumped and turned around. He was face to face with Tanaka who'd been watching him. He looked as if he knew something Hinata didnt. Tanaka leered, and Hinata glared at him.

"N-Nothing" Hinata mumbled.

"yeah? Why you staring at Kageyama then?"

"Im not I-I wasnt."

Tanaka grinned ignoring Hinata's protest. "You likeeee him dont youuuu?" He said in a teasing way.

Hinata went completely red. "Of-Of course Not! I-.. He.. me.. Him.. No what!!"

Tanaka chuckled and grinned wider. He roughly gave Hinata a pat on the back. "Just confess" He stopped for a second before continuing to speak. "Im sure he likes you back" 

Hinata's eyes widened as they filled with hope. "Really!?! All I need to do is confess?" 

Tanaka nodded before walking away giving Hinata a thumbs up. 

Kageyama... Likes me back.. Hinata smiled to himself. He had faith in what Tanaka said but was still iffy about it. Suddenly his smile fell and he frowned. Kageyama would never like him.

Hinata was picking a flower 'He likes me he likes me not he likes me he likes me not' 

"Hey dumbass what are you doing out here?" Kageyama's voice suddenly rang. Frightened Hinata dropped the daisy and jumped up. "Nothing" He mumbled. Tanaka was wrong. He would never like anyone like me...

There was silence before Kageyama sat on the floor patting the spot next to him. Hinata sat next to him. "What are you doing here" Hinata asked a bit uneasy. "Shouldnt you be practicing?" 

Kageyama didnt reply but instead reached for Hinata's neck. Hinata thought that Kageyama was going to choke the life out of him but instead Kageyama grabbed the pendant that was wrapped around Hinata's neck.

"O-Oi Bakayama!" Hinata stuttered. "What are you doing?" He asked. 

Kageyama once again didnt respond but pulled out his own pendant and tried to put them together. The two didnt fit together. "T-They dont fit" Hinata mumbled sadly.

Kageyama dropped both the pendants making them swing wildly. "I dont care" He said before grabbing Hinata by the collar and kissing him on the lips.
