Past Hours
┏━━━━━━༻❁༺━━━━━━┓

A flock of birds scattered up towards the skies, a vault of a deep peach color, their wings flapping overhead the village below them. Their shadows cast down onto the roofs, as they flew past the setting sun, which currently has begun to hide over the distant landscapes.

The group continued on their way, stopping by many more attractions and each one gaining better intellect on the town as a whole. Even Bakugo, underneath his scowl, still had an air of curiosity as his unwavering gaze would examine the many items hung up on the windows of shops or the cart of some merchants' post.

"So, you said you're a Knight, what's that like?" Uraraka asked, turning her attention towards her much taller companion to her left. The duo was resting on a bench whilst Shoto was paying for something Izuku wanted, and Izuku pleading he'll pay it himself despite the two having different kinds of currency.

"Ah!—Yes, a Junior Knight but still learning and advancing. The training is very rigorous and may be challenging, but thankfully my family has raised me to endure such tribulations, so such tasks aren't difficult with some determination!" Iida explained, a triumphant grin across his face as to show off an image of a successful person.

"Sounds like a blast, it's good your family nurtured you to be such an interactive individual, but what about time for just relaxing?" Uraraka questioned curiously, eyeing the boy intently. Though, she grew worried that she may have stepped a boundary since he practically short-circuited.

"Nonsense! As long as there's time to train and continue honing your skills, then there's no point in just mindlessly sitting around doing nothing! Where's the productivity with that?!" Iida announced, his tone shocked and almost offended as he waved his hands around in robotic movements. However, his sharp moves came to a stop as the sound of soft giggling entered his right ear.

"But— Aren't you just sitting here doing nothing? I never took you as one to be a hypocrite, Iida," She taunted through her laughs, finding it even more comical as realization flashed over the blue-haired face.

"T—That's not what I'm doing! I'm just—enjoying my time here in this quaint town and spending time with my new friends!" He hurriedly blurted out, the excuse coming so fast he didn't have time to even evaluate the words before they left his mouth.  In his defeat, he just sighed in embarrassment, slumping down into the bench whilst the other's laughter began to die down.

"I'm just joking around Iida, that's what friends do!" Uraraka attempted to lighten the dismay of the other, shoving at his shoulder slightly as a friendly gesture, unbeknownst to the other was her pinky sticking outward .

"If it helps, it's great you take your duties seriously, I always wanted to be a fighter too but that's not how things ended up," She added, her brown eyes darting upwards to spot Izuku showing off the bracelet Shoto got him to Bakugo, no doubt a gift for Inko.

However, before she'd have to endure the screaming which usually follows Iida's voice was what caught her attention once more. "Um—If you'd like, perhaps I can show you some basic— erm- Techniques? Only if you want to, I wouldn't want to force you to do something you wouldn't want to do or anything!" He stated in a quick flurry, placing a fist to his mouth as he cleared his throat, his pale cheeks tinted with a warm pink.

At the statement, Uraraka's expression beamed in excitement at the prospect of training from an actual Knight, Fae or not. However, internally her hopes began to crumble at the remembrance of her own home, more precisely how the duo may never see each other again after this day, a bittersweet truth.
