In the weeks after that Ellen has had a few days where her asthma was bothering her but she was tired, she had long working days and she just needed some vacation but they were planning on that. The midseason finale was just 5 days away so they aren't filming now as everyone deserves 2 weeks of free time.
"Are you guys ready?" Patrick asked after they had filled the cars with their suitcases
"I'm gonna set Mary in the car, Katie do you have those water bottles with you?" Ellen asked
"Yes mom, did you take the waffles that auntie Kate baked for us?"
"I have them, I'll put them in the front, just shout when you want want one, then mom will give you one" Patrick said
They were ready to go. They hired a small house with 3 bedrooms to stay in 4 days so they could play some games together. They would make time for their family.
"We're here" Patrick said but quiet because Ellen and Katie were asleep
"Yayyyy!!" Mary shouted a little too loud and woke Katie up
"We're here? I want to lay down" Katie said pretty tired
Patrick let the kids out of the car, grabbed the bags and woke Ellen up.
"We're here? Where're the kids?" She asked looking around
"Honey, you slept, they are inside choosing their bedroom"
"I love you" Ellen said while grabbing Patrick close to her
"I love you even more and I'm gonna prove you tonight!" Patrick said while walking inside holding Ellen very close while her head was resting on his chest
