Transported into Another Dimension

Chapter 6 ~ Dragon...?!

Ella jumped over a few rocks. The witch was following behind, looking for any danger. They were still deep in the Gremlin Woods, where a few creatures hid, meaning it was possible for anyone or anything to pop out from nowhere.

"Hey, what's your real name?" Ella asked, as she stepped over a tree giant tree root.

"Well, I do not have one," the witch replied, as she walked slowly.

Ella rolled her eyes, "So am I supposed to call you 'witch'? Doesn't that sound insulting?"

"Hm, I suppose you can call me Crystal. I don't remember my real name," Crystal answered, "But I do not know much about my name."

They continued walking slowly and deeper into the woods. There were a few strange mushrooms which grew alongside the path, some where as tall and big as a tree, while others were as small as mice.

It was silent in the forest, not a single sound interrupted the silence. The only sound was the footsteps of Ella and Crystal.

"Uhm...why is it so...quiet in here?" Ella questioned.

Crystal shrugged, "It's very silent in here, since I think you already did know that there are creatures hiding in the shadows."

Suddenly, an ugly looking thing popped out in front of Ella. She screamed loudly, causing Crystal to quickly catch up to see what was happening.

"Is that a mud monster?" Ella said, backing away slowly. The monster was completely covered in brown sticky mud, and it had two yellow eyes. It was slightly larger than Ella, but the same height as Crystal.

"It is," Crystal answered while casting a spell on it. The mud monster disappeared into red dust.

"That looked gross! I didn't know we described it to look that ugly.." Ella said in disgust.

Crystal chuckled, "Ah, well let's hurry now, we don't know how your friend is doing."

Ella nodded and they set off again. The path grew more narrow after a few minutes, and they finally came to a stop to another cave.

The cave was not like the Cave of Memories. the Cave of Memories looked more magical and had beautiful vines covering the entrance, while this cave looked unwelcoming. It was dark inside and Ella could hear the faint sound of water dripping.

"Should we go inside..?" she asked, as she peered inside.

"I suppose so. I know the woods inside and out, but I've never seen this cave before."

They both entered the cave. Their footsteps echoed against the cave walls. Ella heard faint snoring of something inside.

All of a sudden, Ella saw a huge head, it looked like..a Dragon?!
