Transported into Another Dimension

Chapter 11 ~ The Four Kingdoms

Sarah rubbed her eyes. She was inside the basement under the cozy brick cottage. She looked across the tight basement. Midnight was at the other side of the room. He was in his cat form, and was sleeping in the corner of the basement.

Sarah hopped out of the wooden bed she was sleeping on. She stretched. She guessed it was the morning so headed upstairs. The basement had plenty of small bottles inside barrels and shelves of old books.

"Good morning, Sarah!" Mrs. Witch called out. She was in the kitchen, brewing another potion. This time, the potion was a dark purple color.

Sarah nodded, lucky that she didn't get eaten alive that night. Guess this place is safe after all? She thought.

The furniture were floating, (Sarah got used to that right away) and sometimes the books in the bookshelf will float out.

"Do you mind if I go outside?" Sarah shouted. She learned that Mrs. Witch had bad hearing sometimes. Making her wonder if hearing aids ever existed in this world.

"What was that, dear?" Mrs. Witch replied, stirring the dark purple potion, which was bubbling  loudly.

"I said if I could go outside, please?!"

"What? You said I could go outside and pee?"

Sarah shook her head, "No! I said if I could go outside, PLEASE!"

Mrs. Witch finally heard it the third time. She smiled and nodded. At last! Sarah thought.

She quickly opened the wooden door and shut it quietly. Sarah breathed in the fresh forest air. Sarah had brought the satchel she found. Inside was the strange glowing shard and the map.

It was quite cold outside. Sarah zipped up her navy blue jacket. She wished she was wearing something thicker than jeans and sneakers when she was transported into the book she and Ella wrote.

Sarah walked around. She decided to explore the Southern Woods a bit. Sarah opened the old map she found. She noticed that a Castle was not too far away from here.

The Castle was named The Ivy Kingdom. Sarah gasped. She remembered the Ivy Kingdom! 

Sarah shook her head. If anything they wrote in the story was real, then the other three kingdoms must be real too! They were called The Flame Kingdom, Moon Kingdom, and The Frost Kingdom.

She knew that the Frost and Flame Kingdom were great rivals. The Queens, Queen Fire and Queen Ice were sisters. They disliked each other declared war not too long ago, meaning it was still possible that the war would still be happening currently.

A few birds chirped in the distance. Sarah just noticed that her stomach was grumbling loudly. The salad Ella made seemed so long ago. 

Speaking about Ella, I wonder where she is now?
