"-imin! Jimin, p-please w-wake up!"
Jimin's eyes opened to a face smeared with tears and raven hair sticking out in all directions. "Jung...kook?" Jimin lifted a hand rubbing at one of his eyes and trying to pull himself farther from the tight grip of sleep. "What... what's wrong?"
"M-my backpack... it- it's gone! J-Jimin, it's gone!" Jungkook sobbed, leaning back and burying his face in his hands. Jimin pulled himself into a sitting position, moving one of his hands onto Jungkook's thigh. The younger didn't even react.
"Your backpack...?" Jimin thought for a moment, scrunching his eyebrows. And his eyes shot wide open. Any last traces of sleep were gone. "Oh god, your backpack! Yoongi! Yoongi help!" Jimin turned toward the door, screaming as loudly as he could.
Moments later, Yoongi came barreling in. "What? What's wrong?"
Jungkook was sobbing too heavily to answer, so Jimin took the liberty and did it himself. "His backpack, Hyung, it's gone. I think we left it at the laser tag place."
Yoongi's eyes widened and he cursed. "Stay here, I'll go get it."
"H-Hyung... p-please..."
Yoongi ran over to the youngest, tugging him into an embrace. "Hey, Kook, it's going to be okay, okay?"
Jungkook nodded, tears soaking the mint-haired man's shirt. "P-please hurry..."
"I will. I will, but you have to let me go so I can go find your blanket."
Jungkook shivered but let go, immediately moving toward Jimin who welcomed him with another warm embrace. Jimin rubbed along his arm, locking eyes with Yoongi and silently telling him to go. Yoongi nodded and left.
As he burst through the door, Taehyung almost got knocked over and stumbled in. "What was that about- Jungkook?"
"His backpack. We left it at the laser tag place in all the rush."
Taehyung tilted his head to the side. "His backpack... with the blanket?" His eyes widened in realization. "The one you said was made by his family! And yesterday we learned- well, uh, you know. That makes so much more sense now." Taehyung walked over, sitting down carefully on the edge of the bed. He patted the younger's shoulder. "Yoongi will get it back, right? It'll be okay."
Jungkook didn't respond, just kept sobbing on Jimin's shoulder. It hurt Jimin to see. This was the second time he'd seen the younger so broken, the second time in the same number of days. All Jimin wanted to do was take away that pain and make him smile. He ached to see that smile, the one that made him look like a bunny. And it had only been two days without it.
"Do you... want anything to drink? Or eat?" Taehyung asked.
Jungkook lifted a hand, wiping away tears that were instantly replaced. "I d-don't know."
"You need to drink something, Kookie," Jimin interrupted, "Do you want water? Milk? Soda?"
Jungkook sniffed. "B-banana milk?"
"Uh... we don't have that..." Taehyung muttered. "We have normal milk though." Jungkook hesitantly nodded into Jimin's shoulder. "Okay, I'll get that." Taehyung stood up and left.
Jimin kept rubbing Jungkook's back and arms. Taehyung came back and Jimin helped Jungkook to sit up straight and take a few sips of the milk. Jimin felt a buzz from his pocket and pulled out his phone, reading the notification.

Jimin silently thanked his voice for not cracking. Jungkook hesitantly nodded, slowly letting Jimin go. Taehyung let Jungkook hug him instead.
