They say there are several stages of grief. The number of stages is debated: some say there are five, some have added more. It doesn't matter how many stages there are though. Because whichever stage was rage?
Yeah. That's the one Jungkook was trapped in.
Hair pulling, pillow throwing, screaming. Angry tears, refusing to eat, cursing as loud as he could at everything he could. More tears.
Jimin was starting to get worried for everyone's safety. So, he turned to the person that knew Jungkook the longest.
"Taehyung, please say he's on his way."
"He is, said it'll be a few minutes." Taehyung noticed the look on Jimin's face and got ready, knowing what was coming.
Jimin groaned, starting the spiel that he'd already said several times. "I opened the door and he- he just threw a pillow right at my face! I couldn't even say a word, he just kept yelling and covering his ears." Jimin sighed, running his hands through his hair. "He's so amazing, and I like him, I really do, but angry Jungkook is... he's..."
"Terrifying?"
"Yes! Exactly!" Jimin sighed, carding his hands through his hair again. "I want to help him but I don't know how!"
"That's why-" There was a knock on the door- "Yoongi's coming."
Taehyung went to answer it, Jimin too lost in his thoughts to do so. A few words were exchanged, and as quick as Jimin's thinking started it ended, and Yoongi was sitting on the couch across from him.
"Hyung, what can I do?"
Yoongi chuckled a little. "Straight to the point, I see."
"Of course I am, I have an angry Jungkook in my bedroom and I want to help him." Taehyung chuckled, earning a confused look from Jimin.
"Oh, uh, just... in a different context, that would be... you know." Taehyung hid his face behind his hands, trying to hold back more laughter.
Jimin felt his face light up and quickly turned away from the blue-haired boy. "Ignore him. What do I do?"
Yoongi shook his head. "I would 'yes-and' Taehyung's joke but now isn't the time." He reached to the floor in front of him, picking up a bag Jimin hadn't noticed before. He pulled out two things: a pillow and a small, pink rabbit plush. "The plush is for hugging, the pillow is for punching. Or throwing. Just beating up in general. Take these to him and tell him that, then wait for him to calm down some. Then talk to him."
"That's... that's your only advice?"
"Yep." Yoongi held up the rabbit. "This guy was a present from my dad to Jungkook. His way of trying to make Jungkook feel welcome in our house after... you know." He stared at the rabbit with fondness, seemingly remembering something about those days. "I won't say much else. But hugging this guy might help him calm down a little."
The older held out the rabbit and the pillow, which Jimin gladly took. He tried to pull out a small smile. "Thanks, Hyung."
"No problem." He stood up, grabbing the now empty bag. "I'm gonna go wander around, maybe meet with Hoseok. If you need anything else, call me."
Jimin nodded. As Yoongi was on his way out, Taehyung stopped him. "Can I come with you? I have nothing to do here."
"You'd be the third wheel the whole time."
"Yeah, well, maybe I can find someone to flirt with while I'm out."
"I thought you just broke up with someone?"
