This oneshot was requested by lauralikesllamas when we were both at online school and bored. It's from one of her (and one of my) favourite fandoms, and we were both annoyed that none of the episodes actually ended with them knowing who each other were. So I made this. It's supposed to be like an episode of Miraculous but doesn't end with Chat Noir and Ladybug forgetting who the other is. Enjoy!

"Pound it," Ladybug and Chat Noir said together, as the pale white butterfly flew off. Another Akumatized villain defeated. Marinette smiled, feeling elated. She couldn't believe they'd saved Paris again, in their hardest fight yet. There was only one thing missing, one thing she wanted - to be able to tell Chat who she was.

The truth was, she'd known who he was the whole time when she'd accidentally spotted him behind the school after a battle. She couldn't believe it at first - Chat Noir and Adrien seemed like two complete opposites - but eventually, she started noticing the similarities. Blonde hair, green eyes, even the same smooth model's gait. And if she was being completely honest with herself? Her knowing who he was, and him still completely oblivious, was tearing her up inside. She needed to tell him, he needed to know, and she would, but for one thing - her complete and utter inability to talk to Adrien.

When she'd first realised, barely a month ago, she seemed to have lost all her confidence. She'd become more like Marionette and less like Ladybug, and it was beginning to get noticed. Alya was clearly onto her, though she kept trying to leave false clues and convince her otherwise, and Nadja, the news reporter, seemed to be catching on as well. She had to fix it, and if Alya's previous advice was reliable, the only way was to tell him.

Aside from that, there was another factor - Master Fu, who had made it clear they couldn't know who the other was. But he didn't have to know.

"Bugaboo? Are you okay?" Marionette blinked.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Listen, can I ask you-" Suddenly something beeped. His Miraculous.

"Sorry, gotta go. Catch you next time!"

Marionette stared after him. And suddenly she couldn't stand it anymore.

"Chat! A-Adrien!!"

He stopped and turned, the shock clearly visible under his leather mask. There was no-one around, but even if there had been she still would have shouted for him. Thank goodness the darkness was falling and nobody could hear them. Nobody could see them.

She stepped towards him, aware of her earrings beeping rapidly. She had one spot left, one minute before she turned back.

"How do you know my-" She rubbed her neck awkwardly.

"I- I saw one day, as you transformed. Adrien Agreste, fashion model, one of my friends," she smiled. "Can you guess mine?"

He stared at her, into her bluebell eyes, as if searching for something. Realisation swiftly dawned across his face. "Mari-"

"Spots off." She stood in front of him, Tikki flying into her shoulder bag as she shivered on the peak of the roof, feeling exposed, naked, before his emerald gaze. His ring made a small 'blip' and particles of green lightning fizzed softly across him, revealing Adrien. A short gust of wind blew his white jacket and through his golden hair. He smiled at her and crouched to sit on the rooftop. She followed him and they stared at the stars in the blackened canvas of the night.

"You know we're going to have to forget this, right?" Adrien said softly, turning to her. She looked at him and moved a little closer.

"All the more reason to hold on to every second." They were now so close their shoulders were almost touching, their faces so close together their lips were almost touching. Then they did.

The kiss was electrifying. Something happened between them, something indescribable. Something that hadn't happened before, and wouldn't happen again in a million years. Two superheroes, kindred spirits, soulmates, tied together through a kiss. A forbidden kiss.

Yet the perfect kiss.

I really hope you enjoyed this! I'm not really a romance writer but I have to say, I am pretty proud of this one! I loved writing it, it did get a *little* bit sappy at the end but I like it! Thanks so much for reading, please vote and comment and look forward to a new oneshot soon!!
