*yawn*
I stretched my arms out of the little ditch I fell asleep in the night before.
"New day, new...uh....whatever." I mumbled under my breath. I was blessed enough to treat myself to breakfast so I did. I ate these beans from the can. They were delicious. I never used to like beans before but I ate it so much now Im used to it. Thats besides the point though. I grabbed my bag, still heavy from all the food and I was satisfied with the fact that I could finally not be in a group for at least a week. Everyday was always a challenge. I mean what am I supposed to do now? I suppose I could get medicine. I touched my leg, making sure my crowbar was still by my side. I don't know what I would do without it. While walking to keep me from being bored, I reached my hand in my back pocket and successfully retrieved a polaroid. It was hard looking at this. It was me and my friends. There were four of us, including me. 2 girls, 2 boys. The 1 girls name was Sam. The 2 boys were Vick and Ken. It's just that, I killed Ken. And that was my first. Ever. It wasn't easy. Vick and Sam were furious. I understand why they were, I can't blame them. It's just that Ken did some horrible things. I was only doing it to pro-
"GAH!" I let out a groan. My foot was tied in a rope. I guess I was so focused on the polaroid that I didn't see my surroundings. I was now hanging upside down.
"Let me down!" I yell, but I try not to yell loud. If I did Im a very easy target to get eaten by zombies. I tried to use my body strength to maybe untie the rope but it was tight and I can't hold myself up for that long.
"Hellooo~" I try to call for someone.
"IS ANYONE GONNA LET ME DOWN!?" I angrily said, questioning if Im even talking to anyone. I don't know if its the blood rushing to my head but I saw a lot more traps. With obvious red circles on the bottom of them. And I looked to right to see a huge school in the distance. Maybe theres a civilization there? Makes sense why theres traps. This confrontation will probably look dumb. To entertain myself I started swinging myself and whistling. This is fun. Its like a swing, just somewhat upside down. Wait but what if they steal my food? My bag is on the ground. Its been about 15 minutes now. This is not the way I thought I was gonna die. I laughed at the thought.
"You think my pinata trap worked?" I heard someone say in the distance.
"No, a real dummy would fall for that." Another voice said, this time it was closer.
"And who are you calling a dummy?" I said, seeing the two pop out. They were in a fighting stance though. They had their weapons up but became a bit lenient when they saw I was a human.
"Louis, you're supposed to catch walkers." The one said. There were two boys. One with a brown trench coat where I assume to be named Louis.
"Humans count too, Aasim." Louis smirked. Aasim had a yellow flannel on with red under it.
"What brings you here, m'lady?" Louis asked with a smirk on his face. He put his arm on the tree, leaning on it. Hes literally 3 inches away from my face. I looked at Aasim, his weapon still by him.
"Hold on Louis, how do you know she's not a threat." Aasim said cautiously.
"She's the one tied up here! Not us. Loosen up a bit Aasim." Louis says.
Aasim rolled his eyes and walked away in an angry manner, checking other traps.
"So so sorry for the!-
"LET ME DOWN!" I yell at him, clearly done from hanging.
"Feisty. I likey." He flirts while untying me.
I collapsed to the ground, getting used to not being upside down.
"Need a hand?" He gestures. I look up to him, he smiles as he moves his hand. I ignore his request and push myself up.
