candle boy

coincidence?

I find myself continuously looking at the door.

Waiting for someone to come. 

I frown when it's just another sixth grader trying to impress their boyfriends.

"Relax it's literally just been three days. No one takes 2 candle trips over the span of 3 days. Besides he bought like a ton of stuff the other day" Karia said.

"I guess you're right"

I continue with work as usual until after about an hour, a tall guy appears with a full camera crew. He looks to be about my age, maybe a little older. 

He talks to my manager for a bit and after about fifteen minutes, my manager nods to something. Oh no. What was he agreeing to.

Before I can ask him, a loud voice interrupts me:

"NEXT UP IS THIS BATH AND BODY WORKS STORE AT THE MALL. CHRIS, CHANDLER, YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO."

"ON IT JIMMY."

Who the fuck were are people.

My manager quickly fills me in and tells me that they're buying out the whole store for youtube. Fine by me, even though it's kinda sus.

"ayyyyyy ya'll need help?" I ask.

"The more the merrier" Chris (I think answers)

I push a shopping cart from the back dancing around it. We usually don't use shopping carts because, you know, it's a candle store, but I guess today we finally have a use for it. 

"Hey you think we could get this for K-"

I quickly steal the candle out of Chandler's hand and throw it into the carts. I've honestly never had this much fun at work. 

They even film a little bit with me in the cart covered by candles. They kind of bruised me up a bit, but it was honestly fine. 

I can't tell if they enjoyed me bothering them or they are annoyed. Either way, don't really care. 

By the end of the day, they bought out the store and "Jimmy" even slipped me a hundred and said "thanks for keeping the video entertaining".

Wow two very weird events happening at my job at BATH AND BODY WORKS over the course of less than a week.
