a change?

Music: Fluorescent Adolescence by Arctic Monkeys

(sry forgot to do the music part for the pst few chapters ;P) 

About two weeks passed and I was still getting over all the excitement. We had mostly restocked the place, but it still felt kind of empty.

It was inventory day. Again. I swear it always feels like inventory day.

I pop in my earbuds listening to Fluorescent Adolescence when I hear a tap on my shoulder.

I jump. Yea, this definitely feels like deja vu.

I expect to see some other customer. Maybe they'll be famous with millions of followers?! I wouldn't be surprised. 

I turned around and to my surprise, it was Jimmy. 

The universe seems to be mocking me.

"Hi so we posted our youtube video the other day and the viewers really liked you and your energy. I know this might sound really random but do you wanna join our team? Yea, I know super weird, maybe creepy, but just like consider it because my subscribers would really like -"

"I'm in"

"But-"

"I'm in." I say confidently.

Jimmy seems really taken aback, which I don't judge him for, I'm pretty spontaneous. 

It's not that I hate this job it's just that I've wanted a change and did I mention I hate inventory?Besides, I'm sure the money situation would be a lot better. 

We do a lot of stupid business stuff, sign papers, paychecks yada yada. 

Before I know it, I end my job in a week. 

"Ok Solia"

"Oh God you're using my full name"

"Fine. SOL. You're gonna join a bunch of grown men in doing stupid youtube videos and make money from that?"

"Ok it sounds crazy I know, but I saw the video they posted with us, they genuinely seem like great people and millions of people wouldn't be following them if they were creeps. Besides, they seem super nice."

"Look, I trust your judgement, just be careful."

"Thank you Mommy"

"Please don't do that" she rolls her eyes.

"Sorry mommy" I pout then laugh.
